As there is only the hotel side noted on trip advisor at the moment can only comment via this element. Dropped in on way through to Keswick and Bella and Steve were the perfect hosts, and apologised for some foods not being available. A sweet...More

So there we were after a long late Autumn walk in Eskdale looking for somewhere to eat.... There isn't much between Eskdale and Broughton, I can tell you, so when we turned into the village and saw 'High Cross Inn - Open" our hearts leapt....More

Yes dogs are allowed to stay at the High Cross Inn, as when we stayed the people who were also staying there had 2 lurchers. Please be aware that you will only be able to stay in certain rooms when booking with dogs. Hope... More
