Visited this pub in April when it had literally just been taken over by its new owner and he was finding his feet with the place, and unfortunately no card machine. The food was absolutely home made and excellent and the beer was spot-on.

Apparently, this is under new management; we never went there before it changed hands so can only comment on what it is like now. We are staying in a holiday cottage and went there for a drink and a meal.

We were warmlywelcomed by the barmaid into a freezing cold pub that gave absolutely no incentive to stay. The place has potential but it is not being exploited. No one we saw stayed for more than one drink - a real shame
