Came here with colleagues after work wanting to taste some local BBQ and was not disappointed. Food was great, the service was good and the portions were satisfactory. The menu was simple and affordable. If ever in Millington again, I will be back.

Thoroughly enjoyed dinner here while on holiday in Cartmel. Old world cosy atmosphere. Excellent food served promptly by friendly attentive staff. Definitely worth a visit. While we did not, it would appear adviseable

Just had Sunday lunch, 2 courses for approx £12.95. 2 of us had a starter of Mushroom risotto, it was great but the portion was a little large for a starter. I had beef for main which was great, one had lamb and one had fish pie, all great. All in all, I couldn't fault the service or food, will...

This was a very pleasant dinner, great food, with very friendly and helpful staff, it was also dog friendly. The menu was sufficiently varied to meet the demands of the whole family. Service was very good and the staff retained a very good humour even though they must have been very busy.

Called in here on a very wet Saturday afternoon and luckily they served food all day. No room in the bar unfortunately, so we sat in the little snug. The bistro area at the back looked nice but no one was in there so we didn't want to sit in there on our own. Staff were friendly and efficient. They...

What an absolute disappointment. Wafer thin meat ... like rubber. So little veg I've seen much larger child portions and the only veg was courgette. Will definitely not step foot in this pub again.cannot remember the price but it was more than £10 for the one course. The plates of food were literally thrown onto the table. Guess the staff...

Wasn't quite there. The food was ok . 2 meals were sent back because they weren't warm enough. The service was disjointed and the place lacked atmosphere. The waiter kept apologising for things but it didn't get better. We wouldn't rush back.

Visited this place a couple of times over the weekend for drinks and for dinner on Saturday. Nicely refurbished. Good selection of Lakeland and other beers. Dinner was very good, though the service was slightly chaotic. (Endearing in a strange way) Will re vist

The pub itself is rather small, but the menu was excellent as you would expect from Simon Rogan. It was not too expensive and we really enjoyed it. We both had vegetarian options which were excellent.
