Our eighth visit in two years. Superb hospitality, food, staff and accommodation. Highly recommended.hotel is privately owned and attention to detail is second to none. The five course evening dinner is of a high standard.

Stayed there last weekend. Staff were so good and warm. Food brilliant and just a 15 min walk to centre Cartmel. Rooms were good and a great breakfast choice. Dinner as good as Rogans and L'Eclume. Great Hotel
As far as I'm aware there are no bedrooms downstairs in the main house and no lift. However the hotel has many single storey holiday chalets in the grounds accessed by gravel paths. I wouldn't know how wheelchair friendly... More
As far as I'm aware there are no bedrooms downstairs in the main house and no lift. However the hotel has many single storey holiday chalets in the grounds accessed by gravel paths. I wouldn't know how wheelchair friendly the paths are though. Suggest phoning the hotel as the staff are very friendly and helpful,
