On the high street within walking distance of the train station, this refurbished hotel is the perfect starting point for travels south to Preston or north to Carlyle. It is family run and the parents and children made us welcome.

Friendly staff, comfy room, good food. The hotel is only a walk away from the town centre and the friendly pubs like the Hope and Anchor! Quaint little shops too. Ideal place to tour around the South Lakes.
