My partner booked this as a birthday present for me. We stopped over 21st-24th April. It is such a lovely hotel! The facilities- pool area, lounge, orangery and grounds are wonderfully presented and the views are stunning. All staff were happy to help and very respectful. Our room was also very good. The views from the hotel were honestly out...

Nice setting and the staff are pleasant. Breakfast service a little clunky at times but not an issue. We stayed two nights. The swimming pool has great views but it's not really a 'spa' - more a basic pool and sauna. The dinner wasn't cheap, it was satisfying but you won't remember it. Overall I think it's a tad more...

We were recommended to stay at Lyzzick Hall Hotel by family who have stayed several times before. After a tortuous journey it would have to live up to all their praise if we were to be impressed. We were! We arrived late in the evening when the reception staff were nearing the end of their day. They could have been...

We went away just for the one night and everything was just perfect.... The staff were ALL very friendly and helpful... The hotel and bedroom were clean and tidy.. We stayed for dinner bed and breakfast but we paid the extra suppliment to have the 9 course taster menu... it was a fixed menu but everything on it was amazing.....

Five course a la carte tonight......cheese soufflé and confit belly pork roulade, sorbet and smoked haddock/crab chowder, fillet of beef and venison, passion fruit delice and chocolate fondant, coffe/tea with petit fours. What a great meal.........it's a must for anyone who loves fine food and service. Our third time and ever impressed.

We returned to this hotel and have very high expectations from all previous visits. We were not disappointed our stay was delightful. The restaurant seams to improve year on year every menu was bursting with variety and flavour, clearly local produce used to its best.

A wonderful hotel in the heart of the Lake District. We came across this via Trip Advisor, and were looking for a short break in the Lakes. The hotel is situated outside Keswick with the imposing hills right behind the hotel, and wonderful views across the valleys from the hotel lounges. The hotel is nicely furnished and decorated. All of...

We stayed here on two separate nights last summer while in the region and this review is a combination of both stays. We had to go to Penrith and a search on Tripadvisor of suitable potential places to stay in the area highlighted Lyzzick Hall. It wasn’t the closest by any means but it looked like it would be worth...

We had a three night stay at the Lizzick for a little treat away after my husband being allowed back driving after Cardio surgery before Christmas. The staff were all lovely, polite, and helpful. We stayed in the Grisedale room where we had plenty of room both in the bedroom and bathroom. Very comfy bed and bedding, plenty of towels...

We have stayed here many times over the past 15 years and have never been disappointed - this occasion was no different. Thank you for 'Robinson' - we so enjoyed the wonderful mountain view and spacious bathroom. Yes, the cuisine is the highlight of any stay at Lyzzick - congrats on the consistent high standard. We love the opportunity
