Arrived on Friday tea time to a lovely warm welcome from Ann. We had a family room which had plenty of space for us. Clean and warm rooms. Good breakfast. Thanks for making us so welcome. Unfourtunatly we had to cut our visit short but was offered a free night to compensate.

this hotel was my first visit the staff were friendly and the cost was cheap and cheerful.
The hotel itself is quite dated from the early 70/80 furniture could do with an upgrade but for the coach travellers that stop here I suppose it is ok for a base to sleep just like I did.

Travelled with a bus tour company to this hotel. Very flowery decor. Very small lift. Only one person and one case at a time. Food was adequate but a long wait between courses. On one evening main course came 1 hour after starter. There was not enough dining room staff, bu

Is there a hairdryer in every room?
I'm not the guy that uses a hairdryer - no hair, so no need. But I know that there is one in room 108, and probably in most/every room. I used it to quick-dry some underwear that I washed over night.

If you are allocated to room 125 - make sure u bring yourself a Cool Fan - as Ann is still looking for one for me since 5th July - Room is Extreamly HOT & if that dont keep you awake the LOUD Seagulls start from 5am (no rest in room 125).
I am sorry to hear that you were not presented with a fan during your stay way back in July, here in Cumbria we haven't exactly had a warm summer this year even to the point some guests have asked for heaters as apposed to a fan!! Yes I know.. Rather disappointing. As for seagulls...the Hotel is situated in workington which is right on the coast where seagulls do collect.. They are therfore out of my control.
