Stayed for a week with two teenagers. Very welcoming and helpful staff. Very clean and well equipped. Good base for exploring Dovedale, Matlock and Bakewell which are not far as is Alton Towers. The staff are very friendly and can't do enough to help. Food at the Coach House excellent on all occasions we visited.

Spent a fabulous week at the lodges. Staff are incredibly friendly and helpful and really make you feel welcome. Accommodation is great and the kids had a great time playing in the pool and in the games room. Easy access from here to Ashbourne, Dovedale and the Tissington trail which we cycled on one day. Thanks for the memories.

Great things to do close by including the wonderful Dovedale. The site is small but the kids loved the pool, the hot tub and the free orienteering. Great base...

The one bedroomed lodge (number 37) was well equipped with everything we needed and good wifi. Having the sauna was a bonus and the shower was so powerful I wanted to take it home! We...
