Went here for a late lunch as a celebration. We had a choice of sitting in the cosy pub which was carpeted or the conservatory which was lovely and light but a little noisier due to the ceramic floor. We chose the conservatory and thoroughly enjoyed every minute of our visit. The staff were friendly and made us very welcome,...

We have just returned from a weekend in the Peak District and this was our first time at this hotel/pub but won't be our last. The hotel is in an ideal position for walking round the Derwent Dam ( Dambusters fame) and other excellent walks. The Inn itself is well appointed / has an outstanding restaurant and a well stocked...

Needed a one night stay near Sheffield. Had eaten at Yorkshire Bridge before and found the staff welcoming. Once again we were made very welcome. The room was small but clean and reasonably appointed. The bed was a standard double width rather than UK King (US Queen). I understand that some rooms are fitted with King beds, suggest book them...

We have stayed at the Yorkshire bridge before so knew what to expect. We decided to surprise some friends who were staying there for their anniversary and got there in time for lunch. The sandwiches are quite pricey but everyone enjoyed them and the drinks are what you'd expect to pay in a pub. The evening meal was exceptional. I...

After many years of driving past my wife and I decided at the last minute to pull in to the Yorkshire Bridge for a quick lunch. Lovely appearance, it was quite quiet but it was Monday lunch. Enjoyed the service of drinks and ordered some food of a typical pub fare menu. My wife had an oatcake roll, I had...

I've stayed at the Yorkshire Bridge numerous times over the last few years, it's become a bit of a family tradition to meet up there with relatives from 'up North' and it is a really nice, friendly place to stay with very nice staff. The rooms have always been clean and comfortable and the bar/restaurant has a nice 'pub' atmosphere....

This was a great find for us visiting son in Sheffield. 20 minutes out of the city along the A57 in a beautiful location. Perfect base for walking. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent. There was the offer of fresh milk in the room in little flasks - simple but oh so welcome. The staff were brilliant...

A very friendly welcome in a warm pub. The food was spectacular! We had Steak pie and burger and both were high quality. A great end to a bike ride in Derbyshire and worthy of another visit. If only we had room for a pudding!

Stayed here for a long weekend. Lovely traditional pub food, nice selection of real ales, clean & comfortable bedrooms. Plus fantastic breakfast, friendly staff, plenty of parking and even an outdoor tap for cleaning muddy walking boots. We would definitely visit again.

This is the first time I have stopped here and what a very nice Inn this is. The welcome from the landlady makes you feel at ease quickly and the accommodation is of a very good standard. The room I stayed in was spotless and very warm. With a comfortable large bed I got a very nice nights sleep and...
