I have stayed here every year for about 5 years in The Autumn but never posted a review . It's situated in the most stunning part of England . Spacious rooms, excellent food . Lucky these are walking week ends as the food could put on several pounds . Handy for Sheffield , Ladybower , Buxton and The Snake Pass

What an amazing place, rooms immaculate and ran by lovely people. Pub stocks a good selection of real ale and was showing the rugby. Ate in the restaurant at night and the food was cooked perfectly. Breakfast was spot on in the morning and we can't wait to re-visit.

Stayed with a large group. Room modern, spotless and comfy bed. Food excellent, very large portions. Staff very friendly and helpful. Cannot find any fault would highly recommend. Very handy for a walk around Ladybower reservoir.

The Bridge Inn is around a 20 minute walk from Bamford but if you're staying for just one night as we did then there's no need to leave the pub. There's a good selection of ales on offer, a number of them local, and although the wine list is pretty limited, those on offer were good enough. The food was...

Haven't been here for some time but went for a change of venue for Sunday lunch. We'll be back. The food was great the pub was busy but the food came to the table very quickly, portions are definitely for the hungry, very generous and tasty.

After having had a great walk, we had a gorgeous meal in a delightful ambiance; a lovely fire place to warm your aching feet. The rooms are clean and cosy. Not forgetting the staff, who were very friendly and for whom nothing was too much trouble. We'll defenitely be back again :))

This pub is what I would fondly call a starve, starve establishment, you need to avoid eating anything before you go as the portions are VERY generous the food menu is very traditional English extensive, & the food is delicious the atmosphere is cosy & relaxing just what you would expect from a rural English pub. The second starve relates to what...

Booked a three night stay knowing nothing of the Inn and very little about the area. We were not disappointed great place, comfortable room well appointed, service good (particularly the young chap who took the breakfast and dinner orders). Breakfast was extremely good would highly recommend the Full English (fantastic ingredients well prepared). We were so impressed by breakfast that...

Enjoyed a very tasty roast chicken lunch with all the traditional trimmings. The staff were friendly, as I remembered from the last time. The Grolsch lager was served at the right temperature. Will be back.

4th time I've stopped here now for business, beautiful area, lovely, good quality pub food, not michelin starred pretentiousness and all the better for it,..Sadly, I think my contract here is soon to finish so visits may be less frequent..
