We paid £75 for a one night stay in an 'executive' double but failed to see what was executive about it. The room was very cold when we arrived and the radiator wouldn't come on. There was a small electric convection heater but this took an age to warm the room up. The bathroom wasn't very executive either. The toilet...

My husband recently stayed on business for over a week & I went up to stay over the weekend. What a fab little find. Very homely & spotlessly clean. Room was immaculate & serviced constantly. Although I didnt eat there as it was a quick trip my husband assured me the food was excellent. The owners are welcoming & friendly....

During last two month, I really have enjoyed long term stays at Church View Hotel. I have no doubt to recommend this place at the best option to stay at Castle Donington: rooms are very comfortable and quiet, food is excellent and the staff is nice. Thanks to Maureen, Keith and the rest of staff. Last but not least, you...

I booked at the last minute and was given room 12. This is a double on the ground floor next to the main entrance door and also made for disabled access. Nice room but not very quite and not easy to take a shower with all the apparatus around for a less able person. The dinner I had was excellent...

The Church View does not scream character, beautiful artifacts , paintings etc dotted around ..it is actually quite plain and non descript... however Its strength is how clean tidy organised and well run it is .. Keith ..the owner.. is a nice man and very helpful I will certainly stay again

Great value family hotel in the centre of Castle Donnington. Easy walking distance to the racing circuit and only a few minutes from the many interesting 'boutique' style shops in the high street. The food is so good, very tasty and beautifully presented, so even if you don't stay here you must book an evening meal. Please note that if...

Traditional hotel in the centre of Castle Donington, close to East Midlands Airport and the Donington Park circuit. My room was compact, but clean and well set out with views of the (quiet) street, with a tiny shower room/loo. So small room, but (for me at least) a very good price. I was offered dinner but wanted a decent curry...

I booked a room directly with the hotel and everything went smoothly. I was met by owner Keith and dog and he couldn't have been more accommodating or helpful. The room was modern with a wet room ensuite and was very comfortable. Having had a poor journey down from Scotland during the storms Keith very kindly opened up the bar...
