As a bit of a last minute trip away, we booked a 4 poster bed room at the Causeway House B&B and really enjoyed our stay. The couple who run it Janet and Nick, were really friendly and Nick cooked a great breakfast. The room was spacious and well appointed. We found there was some traffic noise in the morning,...

Excellent location and Janet and Nick are 2 of the most genuinely friendly people you could meet. Several pubs all serving a variety of good food within 2 minutes walk. Very quiet location. Room was comfortable and very clean. Breakfast was the best tasting I have had for years, local produce used. Would definitely stay there again.

As it says in the title, the B&B is ideally located in the middle of Castleton - the Peak District. It was a surprise visit arranged by the husband and I wasn't disappointed. On arrival, we were greeted by Janet & Nick's gorgeous Westie 'Bella', she was so very friendly. We had our own designated private parking spot, which is...

We booked the downstairs room with Kingsize bed and ensuite shower/toilet. The room was a good size and the bed was comfortable. Despite being close to the main road into Castleton, we had a good nights sleep. The room had its own front door, and locked access to the breakfast/dining room. The proprietors (husband & wife) opened the door at...

We had the downstairs room for two nights and it was very comfortable. Both Janet and Nick (the hosts) were very friendly. They put on a great spread at breakfast and the place was clean. Location is great too for getting to Sheffield and Manchester but also for going for some great walks very close by. I highly recommend staying...

Stayed here again on a family trip to Castleton. As always given a warm welcome by Janet and Nick who are fabulous hosts. Between us we had the 3 double rooms which were all clean, warm and the beds very comfortable. As always a very plentiful, delicious and leisurely breakfast. Nothing is too much trouble.
