This pub serves an excellent and wide choice for lunch or dinner. The tables are set with linen cloths and napkins. The service is prompt and efficient, our waiter never stopped smiling. Our lunch of homemade beefburger, chips and salad was excellent. The extensive menu also has a good choice for gluten free and there is a separate room for...

We arrived on Wednesday for " ladies who lunch" day. I ordered prawn sandwich which was lovely, this was accompanied with salad and really beautiful cooked chips, crunchy on the outside, soft in the centre, YUMMY. My friend had prawn baked potato, which she enjoyed also. I would recommend this eatery.

Food was very good. The untrained bar staff were clueless. But here's news Peels Arms no-one but no-one visits a pub to listen to archaic "music" unless they have gone there to dance....which no-one was doing !! It's intrusive and counter productive because my friends and I did not return the following evening BECAUSE of the noise. We did ask for it to...

Geocaching in the area and wanted somewhere with a vegetarian menu. The Peel Arms was recommended. We arrived after a day on the hills and the showers and facilities were perfect. The evening meal was wonderful even though the pub was busy our food arrived promptly and hot. Good choice of menu and very well cooked. The room was warm,...

Another good year passes at the Peels. It gets better with age. For me the end of the year was the festive carol night. A small brass band, tens of would be choristers all trying to outdo Russell Watson and co. Followed by turkey baps, butties and gluwein, courtesy of the family who run the pub. The Rugby World Cup...
