My husband and myself stayed at Bramble Cottage. The owner was more than helpful on our arrival. You are given fresh milk in a flask rather than the UHT type in little pots. Plenty of an assortment to drink in the rooms including a water filter. We were in the King Room with private bathroom. Bathrobes were provided as we...

My wife and I stayed at Bramble cottage for three nights and were delighted with our choice. The warmth of welcome, comfort of acommodation and standard of breakfast was excellent. Our time here was made more enjoyable by the helpfulness and care that Patricia, the owner, showed to make sure we were looked after. I would recommend this B&B to...

This is a rather belated review of a stay that I enjoyed at Bramble Cottage with my partner in early December. We were visiting Chatsworth on Sunday 4th December and wanted a good quality B&B for the previous night, However, as we very quickly discovered, most places in the Peak District area, wanted you to stay for two nights which...

Of the 3 rooms, I think the one we had was the 'standard' but it was superb. Two massive single beds creating a very large kingsize; large shower, bath robes, ironing board/iron, tea/coffee making facilities and a lovely flagon of sloe gin. Breakfast was of an extremely high standard with some home made preserves on offer. We would definitely stay...

Very comfortable room with all the facilities that we needed. It was comfortable enough to spend time in when not being a tourist! We used the room with the separate bathroom (The others were en-suite but booked before we made enquiries) and found that to be excellent. A thoughtful touch was that we were given a keep to this room....

Bramble cottage is a beautifully renovated cottage, tastefully furnished, with numerous thoughtful extra touches (eg water filter in room with tea and coffee facilities) which made it exceptionally comfortable. We slept like logs in the king size bed, after making use of the extra roomy shower. Great breakfast including homemade preserves. The owner was charming, and made us feel very...

There is not much more to add to the previous reviews, we stayed in the Bramble Room which was excellent very spacious, even Americans would be impressed by the size, breakfast was great plenty of it and superb quality. Great location for the Peak District. We only stayed the one night but would be perfect for longer. The only thing...

A lovely cottage, best breakfast I've had in a b/b, plenty of choice, very freindly owner, nothing was too much trouble, high standands and well appointed room, good quality bed linen and nice white fluffy towels. Great pub close by for your evening meal. Easy to drive to Matlock, Bakewell, Buxton, Chesterfield and Chatesworth. A most pleasent 3 day stay....

We've just returned from a 2 night stay in Bramble Cottage & would definitely recommend it! Paddy made us feel very welcome & nothing was too much trouble. We had a lovely bedroom with views overlooking the garden & fantastic super king size bed! The little touches like bathrobes, toiletries, fresh milk for tea & coffee and even a sloe...

If we ever get to Heaven, we hope it resembles Bramble Cottage. From the moment Paddy welcomed us so warmly into her home we felt cossetted in every way. The Cottage itself has an amazing history. It is full of period features & has a wonderful atmosphere. Paddy is clearly the best person to run a B&B - warm hearted,...
