An excellent B & B, nice clean rooms and comfortable bed, ideal for our two night stay in the peak district. The only negative of the room was a small TV with poor reception on some channels. Gill was very welcoming and very helpful regarding places to eat on the second night, as we had already booked a meal for...

We chose this B&B for our 3 night stay from a shortlist of three compiled thanks to Trip Advisor reviews. The Lodge benefits from facing out onto Market Square which has just enough bustle about it to keep you aware of civilisation High Peak-style. Although Tideswell calls itself a village, most folk would say 'town': the place has shops, alleyways,...

Very friendly hostess, welcoming coffee on our arrival with a recommendation of two eateries in the village. The bed was huge and very, very comfortable. Breakfast in the morning was also very good and all in all it was one of the best B & B's I have stayed in.

My wife and I were on a short break in the beautiful Derbyshire Dales and chose Rockingham Lodge because it was central to the area we planned to visit. We are quite selective when choosing a place to stay and this commences with the initial inquiry and the host's response. Gill was most helpful in every detail of our inquiry...

We can confirm what most of the previous guests are saying: that if you stay at Rockingham Lodge you will receive a friendly welcome, a warm, clean and spacious room with en suite, tea and coffee making facilities and TV if you have time to watch it. Room 4 had a comfortable Super Kingsize bed and there was no noise...

We had a lovely stay here on the bank holiday weekend. We were warmly welcomed, despite arriving early when the family were on their way out to the village food festival. The room and bathroom were spotlessly clean and nicely decorated. There was a good tea and coffee tray with bottled water and biscuits in the room, toiletries in the...
