Only stayed the one night but this hotel didn't disappoint. The whole place was spotless and well decorated. Staff welcoming but not intrusive. Perfect. The shower was good and the bed, well, so comfy didn't know I was in it (if you know what I mean). Drifted off to a good nights sleep. Breakfast was lovely. Food good quality and...

Popped here on a day trip to the north Norfolk coast. Hotel has its own parking and was quite disabled friendly. I had taken disabled dad there for a light lunch. There is a small step and pillar by bar area otherwise it's fully accessible with level entrance and spotless toilet. Had sandwich and drink for lunch which was superb...

We had enjoyed a bracing sunshine walk on Brancaster beach, which is an amazing place, and we're ready for a quick lunch before travelling home, when we saw The Ship opposite the church in Brancaster. We enjoyed delicious home made tomato and red pepper soup, and the very good and generous seafood platters. The staff were welcoming, attentive in a friendly...

We had a delightful room with an exceptionally comfortable 6ft bed and two beds provided for the dogs. The hotel staff went out of their way to make us all welcome and even gave us breakfast and supper with the dogs in the special dining area. The food was delicious and it was the best toast we have ever had...

Having been a regular, if infrequent, visitor to The Ship I've always been a big fan but our recent visit was, sadly, a disappointment. It's change hands since we last visited and it's not been for the better. The bar is still charming, the staff are still friendly and the service is still fast but the food was just boring....

I don't know when you were last at The Ship but it certainly hasn't changed hands, certainly not in the last 15 odd years! I'm glad the ambience and the service is still to your liking but I'm very disappointed that you weren't impressed with our food offering. My staff and I strive to provide the very best seasonal food...

Ok place restaurant has very limited menu and after a few days not that exciting - however, lovely time away with the family and the dog - staff very friendly and welcoming. Room was rather small for us two and our small dog and very warm, too warm in fact and had to sleep with the windows open and suffer...

Sorry to hear our menu didn't impress you David. I pride myself on sourcing the very best local and seasonal produce and I'm genuinely surprised and disappointed there was nothing that tickled your fancy. At least you found the service to your liking. Hopefully if you give us another chance and come back there'll be something to wow you on...

Not a very good stay here. We were given a room in the roof of the hotel and had to lug our cases up three floors. Poor position for the bath, jammed in the roof edge. Very hot at night as the heat of the hotel came up and the sun on the roof came down. Expensive and not value...

The food is amazing and the service is as good. We had the Sunday roast and this is highly recommend. We had our dog with us and this was no problem based on loads of other dogs within the pub. Thumbs up from us👍

Have visited the area and The Ship frequently as a result of golf excursions. After a great 36 holes at Sheringham GC really looking forward to the evening meal. Unfortunately it was a disappointing experience because of a general lack of interest from the staff serving food and drink and the overall quality of the food. Avoid the burger! Hopefully...

I hope it was a blip too Stu. It really disappoints me if I hear that my staff haven't been as courteous and welcoming as I expect them to be or that my food hasn't met with my diners' expectations. I strive very hard to give my guests the very best hospitality and food available and my staff know how...
