I stayed here last night with my husband. We had the Stowe room. Karen and Peter who own the B&B were both really friendly and helpful. The room was fabulous, really comfy bed, good strong shower. Good mix of good teas and coffee available in room with biscuits! A couple of toweling robes to chill out in and a delicious...

This place is special. I could simply leave the review at that, but it is just one of those places that when you stay here you will wish you owned it. You can just feel the character in every part of the building. The room was lovely, decor sympathetic to the era of the building and so inviting. This place...

Booked at Highcroft House at the last minute after my original hotel fell through for my weekend at silverstone, thank God it did. This is a true gem of a place, my room was excellent and the ground coffee and cafetiere in the room was a bonus for a coffee lover like me. The owners are very welcoming and accommodating,...

A lovely place to stay for a weekend getaway. The owners went out of their way to make us feel welcome with our newborn baby. They served a fantastic breakfast and there is a great range of places to eat in Towcester. We recommend 185 Whatling Street for dinner.

We had a quirky room with a freestanding bath and a deliciously comfortable bed. Owners could not have been more helpful, and we met some interesting people round the breakfast table. There was a bit of traffic noise, but they even offered us ear plugs - these were not needed as after 30 seconds in that bed I was fast...

We stayed a night in the Althorp room. Karen, Peter and Hugo were fantastic. Their warm, pleasant chat was very welcoming and friendly. The room was fantastic, very special... can I underline the very special bit. The cooked breakfast was fantastic, possibly the best bacon I've ever tasted. Yes there was some road noise but it did not bother us...

We stayed at Highcroft House on a Saturday with a group of friends. Following a warm welcome from Karen and Peter we were served a splendid afternoon tea in the garden with delicious cake and scones. The rooms were very comfortable indeed with tea and coffee making facilities and an excellent ensuite walk in shower. There is a very good...

Greeted by Karen and Peter and not to forget the lovely Hugo - we have just returned from a brilliant 3night stay at Highcroft. Karen and Peter welcome you into their home really and each of the guestrooms are lovely (we had sneaky peeks on the way to our room). Gorgeous beds and bedding and a fantastic bathroom with a...

I chose to stay here based on the web site and Tripadvisor and wasn't disappointed. Friendly welcome. The room and the en-suite facilities were excellent. Breakfast was also very good. I would definitely stay here again - not what my memory of B & B was in England years ago!
