We've come to East Grinstead to see friends and as we used to live here know the area well... Loved being here, the hotel have give us a room overlooking the church where we got married 22 years ago, perfect! Tastefully decorated, comfy, staff very helpful and we're looking forward to breakfast in CJ's restaurant shortly.... It's 8.30 and we're...

We had a 3 night stay in the Cromwell room in this bed and breakfast, situated in the high street of East Grinstead. We have used the bar/cafe downstairs CJ's before, which is fine for a light lunch, breakfast, or a couple of evening drinks. So we thought we'd use the accommodation on our next visit. The bathroom is on...

The room was great! It's spacious, clean and comfortable. Large four poster bed, bathroom has a freestanding bath and a separate shower. I thought breakfast was good, however my wife wasn't overly fussed about it. All the staff were welcoming and friendly but I didn't like the check-in. Standing at the bar with our luggage waiting to grab a staff...

We traveled with extended family and booked out the place (3 rooms) for our 2 night stay in East Grinstead. Hubby and I had the Crompton room and as previously mentioned in other reviews this bed is noisy and whilst it is a pretty bed, in my opinion the noise makes it on the verge of unacceptable - but it...

Stayed here one night initially due to cost, as on tight budget but what a gem. Only small but wow great quaint rooms with all you need for a short stay. Try this before booking more expensive big name hotels. With a great breakfast within the cost, this really is something.

You check in at the cafe/bar next to the property. Staff were very helpful and friendly - eg provided a continental breakfast on a tray as I needed to leave early in morning. Room clean and pleasant. decor of building good. Close to various restaurants including Pizza express. Parking, limited, across street and nearby. Car park up past church very...

Hotel of choice when attending evening race meetings at Lingfield Park, having stayed here several times in the last few years. Room was sumptuously furnished with a four poster bed bad bathroom with a roll top bath & seperate shower cubicle. Check in at the downstairs bar & restaurant was quick & friendly . Breakfast was freshly cooked to order....

Very comfortable, quirky B & B. Some very nice touches. Friendly staff and a delicious cooked breakfast right in the centre of East Grinstead. A very enjoyable one night stay. I would definitely return if I was that way again.

The positives- room was nicely furnished and staff friendly and welcoming on arrival. Breakfast was good- good quality eggs. Unfortunately the music from bar downstairs was pounding into room until midnight when bar closed, and after being treated to manager - who others seem to have mentioned- repeatedly bellowing time- turned on again after bar had closed- albeit quieter, until...

This small hotel is right in the centre of East Grinstead amongst original Tudor buildings. The room we had is beautiful with a four poster bed, huge bathroom with free standing bath and huge shower. The bed was very comfortable and we had a great nights sleep.
