Stayed one night on trip to BC in a nice kitchenette. The room was well equipped for cooking. Had breakfast in the attached restaurant the next morning which was very convenient. Nordegg is a very pleasant quiet village off the main highway. Would definitely stay there again.

Stopped in for some lunch. Our service was great ( young lady doing her very best) but the other woman was NASTY!! Yelling at customers across the restaurant , barking at people that they "could wait 'cause she had to clean tables". She should not be in customer service at all !! People actually left she was so rude. Pack... More

I am not very happy with my visit. My sister, my 80 year mother, and I planned to stay at the motel. Sadly they gave out room to someone else. Even though we had a reservation. We got to room around 6:30 pm. That doesn't seem that late to me. They told us that they tried to call us, but... More

Came here with an open mind and was pleasantly surprised. Yes, it is an older hotel but we found it clean with wifi, fridge, coffee maker, cable tv. Excellent restaurant and bar adjacent to motel. Oodles of history in restaurant. Golf course across road. Waitress's were extremely friendly. Only downside was no a/c and like most older motels...when trucks start... More

Yes, it's true this was my third time (over a 4 year period) staying at this hotel. This is strictly based on close proximity to Abraham Lake. Sadly nothing has changed since the first time. The staff did not give me the warm fuzzies and neither did the room. It had a bit of a smell and just feels extremely... More

First time staying in Nordegg and we will definitely come back. Nordegg is very close to Abraham Lake and we were there for ice fishing. The hotel was older but very comfortable. Rooms warm, beds great, water pressure good, and located close to everything. Staff were very welcoming and helpful. Restaurant and pub were perfect.

Booked this hotel for 1 night on the Aug. Long weekend. When we arrived at 1700 after some awesome hiking in the area.........was greeted with "your late!" not a "hi what can I do for you?".......very grumpy fellow, his name escapes me at the moment but could have been the owner. 1700 check in time is pretty normal, but not... The only game in town, other than the hostel, but all in all not a bad deal. The price is right, and the rooms, while dated, seem to be clean and well- maintained. We stayed three nights at Easter while visiting Banff and Jasper national parks and were reasonably comfortable. The beds were a bit firm, but after about 10:30... More

Since I travel a lot to photograph areas, the lodge seemed like the only reasonable option in the area. Did an inspection of the room before bringing bags in, but despite finding nothing and the room looking clean, the friend I was travelling with received over 50 bites from bedbugs. We were offered a 50% discount when we checked out.... More

Stayed here for one night due to working in the area. The staff are friendly and the room was clean. The beds are super old and not very comfortable. Make sure that if you are showering that you bring a towel into the bathroom as they are outside of the bathroom. There is no way to shut off the heat... More
