This park is a must visit. Found by accident and stayed a couple of nights. Rating does not match park. Owners are friendly and go out of their way to make your stay memorable. Grounds and sites are well maintained. Site provides a quite oasis. Home made meals can be ordered and for those not self contained athe camp kitchen...

Very comfortable park and clean roomy cabins with ensuites. Parking next to cabins for security and convenience. Very friendly and helpful staff. Shop had a good choice of food for breakfast. The park is not near town but a short taxi trip solves the dinner need. Well worth trying.

Stopped on our way north for a couple of nights. Great little tidy park, friendly, helpful staff. Good, clean amenities and ensuite sites. Would definitely stay again if in the area. Also recommend the drive yourself tour of the towns highlights...just hire a CD from the Tourist Info Centre

Have been traveling around now for a few months and this would have to be one of the best parks we have stayed in. We don't travel with a caravan so stay in cabins. This cabin was spotless and had everything you could need in order to cook your own meal. Bed was very comfortable although the on suite a...

On the Clermont Road, we were greeted with a friendly welcome and personally escorted to out cabin. The cabin had all the essentials - comfortable bed and ensuite though very small. We didn't spend too much time there - there is much to do in Charters Towers - after all it was home to many during the gold rush days....

What a great park to spend a few days. The park is clean and tidy although a short drive from the town centre. A great Home cooked meal is to be had at the camp kitchen on certain nights and this is certainly cheap and very tasty .All sites with cement or lawn and well maintained .Ensuites are quite big...

Had a nice quite time here, which, was just what we needed. We had an ensuite due to sickness and it was great. The park was busy. The laundry was busy in the mornings and a couple more washing machines would be great, but I don't know where they would go. The grounds were in good condition and the staff...

We believe new owners have taken this over however the park has not changed at all in four years and needs money spent on it. Staff are extremely helpful and willing to assist how they can however the park needs updating as power for every site comes from a pole that could be forty odd metres away which means in...

Hi Paul, We are new owners as of 1st March , yes the park does need some TLC but as you can understand we have only been here for 5 months. Believe me nobody hates the power situation more than us. The power has been looked at but no work can be done in the tourist season. These are major...
