Fabulous service before and during our stay. Updated private Banyan Canopy villas provide back to nature experience with spacious screened in porches. It rained every night, which was a relaxing and soothing experience with the doors open. The Food was excellent. Several delicious choices for dinner located in the covered outdoor setting. Very romantic. Astrid's recommendation for the sunset nature...

Staying in the Daintree was such a unique experience that I would recommend it to anyone who is interested. We flew into Cairns airport and arranged a hire car which allowed us to take in the beautiful coastal drive, approx. 1.5hrs. As the Daintree area is quite secluded a hire car is the best option I believe. There is a...

Stayed for 2 nights in a Banyan Canopy and loved every minute. Espececially we enjoyed the balcony where we -due to the fact that the whole canopy was "wrapped" in mosquito net - sat in the morning, the afternoon and the evening. As other mentioned the balcony was VERY private. The room was vey airy and spacious too. Also the...

It's a little out of the way, but so worth it - while we had breakfast under a canopied deck, a deluge of tropical rain beat down on the lake right next to us. Dinner was delicious and fairly prices for what it was (considering not a lot of options in the neighborhood). The bungalow was peaceful and quiet at...

Spent three days and three nights at the lodge. We really enjoyed the atmosphere, service, and facilities. The meals were excellent - the best in the area. Would have liked a few comfortable chairs in the room and on the balcony to relax in - the ones provided were functional but not comfortable - a footstool would have helped too....

The Daintree Eco Lodge is set within the ancient Daintree rain forest. Each elevated unit is separate and nestled into the canopy. A creek winds through the property and lends its sounds to the natural music of the jungle. There are only 16 units each of which is beautifully appointed with spa tubs on micro screened balconies. The staff went...

Thank you for your happy review David. We are pleased to read that you found your stay with us to be so tranquil and relaxing. I better clarify for fellow readers however, that we have two "Rainforest Bayans" which feature hot tubs on their private microscreened balconies. These rooms are nestled deeper within the lower layers of the rainforest. Our...

My wife and i spent a long weekend at this lodge. Although there was construction happening, it was still a very nice outing. The cottage we had was absolutely lovely. We really loved sitting in the screened in patio. It was completely bug free. Amenities were great. The restaurant food was spectacular. Something different on the menu every night!!!. Sitting...

Small well run lodge with individual units in a beautiful setting. Rooms are well appointed and the Treetop units are updated The restaurant had good service and excellent cooking values. Good start point to explore region above the Daintree River.
