I've been living in Townsville now for several years, and have been getting around to visiting this park for a while on the back of word of mouth. I finally took the tour this morning with my 2 year old son, and was so impressed with every aspect, I felt compelled to leave a review based on gratitude. The tour...

Ok, lets start with the good. You can spot some great wildlife at Bungalow Bay Koala Village. Kookaburra, Lorikeet, Possums and Wallaby are common. Its said that even Koalas are visiting the campsite. Bad things are the powered camp sites. Its quite impossible to find a leveled patch of soil. Unless you park on the concrete slabs, which are usually...

My cousin and I had booked the koala express tour through a travel agent which included your return ferry tickets, entry to the koala park and a photo as well as 2 nights accommodation at bungalow bay YHA. All seemed well and good and was highly recommended this tour. We first got there and it took ages to check us...

Dear Yazzysadri, Thank you for your review. We were very sorry to hear about the behaviour from one of the guests in your dorm room. Unfortunately we do not have any control of what the guests do when in a shared dorm; we only hope that they have some common decency when around other guests! As it was after midnight...

I paid online before arrival but staff on duty wouldn't accept my receipt. Took a long time arguing until they agreed to check their system and found the payment. Apart from this the location is fantastic.

I was in an 8 bed room with a shared bathroom. The rooms were these really cute huts, very clean and the shower was amazing! Something you'd expect to find in a nice hotel not a hostel! It was really cool that there were loads of animals just wandering round and the wildlife tour was definitely worth the money. The...

My room was blooming fab! You stay in lovely little huts, they very cute and clean and tidy, and the shower is GLORIOUS!! I've stayed in...

We spent one night at bungalow. We had a van. We parked on a unpowered space. Really nice staff, hammocks to relax in, clean showers, the showers in front have better water pressure. The sanctuary and two hour you're are a must do!!!

We stayed here for one night while exploring magnetic island. They Staff although nice, don't seem to be fully knowledgeable about the area. We asked for where we would find one of our activities that we booked (sea kayaks) but they did not have a clue. The room/cabin itself was ok, but the shared toilet/shower facilities were not very clean....

I stayed here with a friend in the middle of September 2016. We shared a double room, which unfortunately did not have air conditioning. Whilst the heat was bearable for us being locals, I couldn't imagine staying here in hotter (summer) weather without air conditioning. We had a tiny fan attached to the wall. The fridge was also quite dirty...

This guided wildlife tour i took was going on for 2 hours. The price is a 3rd of what you pay in entrance in any other zoo I've been to in Australia. But this is better! The tour guide ranger of my tour was Sylvie and she made my day by in a very fun way telling us all about...
