One of my favourite hostels in Oz. The owners are very friendly, and the place is super chilled out. Everything was really clean and the open plan layout makes it feel really comfortable. The rooms were a good size and we had large ensuite with our room. The pool is awesome too. 2min walk to the beach and pub.

A very casual backpackers with a open kitchen right next to the beach. Cool artwork on the walls and very close to all amenities and mission beach shops. Has a bush which runs a few times a day to pick up people from the greyhound buses and take guests into wondaling to go Woolies. Great place to stay

Only stayed a day and 2 nights but it was such a lovely little hostel. Felt like home. Beds were comfy. Rooms were fairly clean. Be sure to do one of Evie's adventure tours whilst your there. Overall lovely stop over on my way down the East Coast.

One of the best yhas I have seen. Friendly staff, communal activities in the evenings if you want them and Evies local tours are very good for a completely reasonable, backpacker price. Lovely situation a minutes walk from the beach with free shuttles to and from Woolworths throughout the day.

9 bed dorm but didn't feel crowded. Ensuite bathroom. Both seemed clean enough. Free wifi worked well throughout whole hostel and reception let us borrow their laptop to watch our sky diving videos. The kitchen was small but clean with good range of utensils. Staff were nice and friendly and took us to a swimming hole in the rainforest one...

Yha Mission Beach, it's was of my best hostel on my travel. You have there all what you need. The staff looks also good to the visitors and give them a free shuttelservice from the bus station direct to the hostel. The hostel is not big but small and fine, you know all person there after 1 day. That makes...

We stayed at the YHA for 2 nights, because my friend had her skydive over there. First the free pick up from the busstation was really great even as our rooms. Mission Beach is a nice place, but there is not that much to do, so in the beginning we were al little bit bored. Thank god Evie was there!...

The YHA hostel in Mission Beach is a lovely, well groomed and clean hostel. The atmosphere is really nice and cosy. One of the house rules states that you should talk to other people, it might light up their day and probably yours as well. I am a young female travelling solo and even though I was only in town...

The staff are great here. The cleanliness is poor. Clean sheets on the beds but the mattress protectors underneath are so dirty and smell. Clearly have not been washed in a long time, if ever. The room in general was pretty dirty and grubby. No curtain or blind at window so neighbours can see in. Air con smelt of pee...

Hi Guys, thanks again for taking the time to review our hostel. After your original review via the channel you booked, we took everything into consideration and took the appropriate action. Again, we are very sorry for your experience here during your night with us. As mentioned in our first reply, we do have curtains in all of our rooms...

Great pool, right in the centre of the town (which is small) 30 second walk from the beach. Clean, great kitchen, great movies to watch if it's raining. Luke and all the staff were so friendly, really involving in social activities, I really did not want to leave!
