The staff weren't very helpful seemed like an effort for them To give you information. Very much a working hostel, majority there seemed to be completing their farm work. So very quiet in the day. Not very close to the shop you need to get a bus. Which they to run at set times. Rooms were clean and tidy tho.

See comments from April 25th. Couldn't agree more and should have read it before staying overnight. Really dirty rooms and disgusting smell. The smell from the room permeated our clothes which we immediately washed the following day. Slept above the covers, fully clothed and had to drink a six-pack just to fall asleep. Dog and cat were lovely. Would never...

I believe that it used to be a lovely place a few years to go. But there is no love there anymore. I don't even know why there was even staff there. They didn't do any work! And the kitchen was super dirty! One of the staff members walked in and said "ew the kitchen is disgusting" and then the...

Stayed here in a double en-suite room and it was awesome. Air con, TV and comfy bed. Pool just outside is nice too. There is a cool little bar about 100metres away too so if you want to shoot out for dinner or a few drinks

On a solo trip down the east coast I arrived at Scotty's to a relaxed, friendly atmosphere. Was pretty much instantly made to feel super welcome by all the people who are staying at the hostel doing their farm work. A young crowd but by no means rowdy, a harmonious and happy bunch :) The staff were fab, friendly and...

Pleasent place. I think it is mostly geared towards young backpackers, such as myself, so nothing fancy. Free wifi in the kitchen area and paid wifi in the rooms which is always a plus. No dishes supplied ,however. They had a courtesy bus which was nice as the bus station and grocery store was a ways away. The room itself...

Decent little hostel that is chilled out and has a swimming pool, the wifi is pretty decent and manages to reach the room. Rooms and bathroom were reasonably clean and the room even came with a mini fridge in it. There is a free shuttle bus which picks you up from the bus stop (and takes you back), and you...

We were upgraded to the "princess room" because no other rooms were available. It was 4 bed with ensuite and also had a fridge. The kitchen facilities at the hostel were spotless and everyone spent time in that area. The pool area is chilled with good music. There was two bars/ restaurants nearby but literally nothing else (though I've heard...

I stayed here for one night before my skydive. This is a hostel with history and there are boards up in the kitchen showing the hostel from the construction phases to date which i think is a lovely touch! The room was clean and was en suite and all girls which was lovely. Pool is great and we chilled out...
