very small sites and we only had a motorhome. I think the people were friendly but clicky because many go year after year sometimes for months. Toilets & showers were clean but basic. Swimming pool was clean and refreshing in the warm weather especially as the area was known for crocs so no beach swimming. Not very smart place but...

Dear J, thankyou for your feed back, we really do hate this faceless review systems and we that you had came to us to discuss what would improve the amenities block, as we hear these comments of clean but basic al the time but that does not give us an idea of what our guests want into the future. We...

Barbara B from Gympie, your recollection of the Newell Beach Caravan Park to what actually happened when YOU and YOUR husband raised YOUR voices at the owner's wife. You were then asked to leave along with support from one of the caravan owners in the park. I witnessed the whole conversation with others. You and your husband were very rude...

We had booked 5 nights here, thinking it would be nice near the beach. We were shown an extremely small and cramped site by the owner's wife who was really interested in getting us to stay 7 nights. It also appeared that the car would be parked outside on the grassed area just off the road. There certainly wasn't enough...

Stayed at this park for two weeks and found the place to be very friendly. Sites are quite small but the park was adequate for our needs, no fancy facilities for families but it did have a clean pool. Happy hour every day at 5pm and many campers congregated in the camp kitchen. The manager, Warren, even put on hot...

We were given a warm welcome at Newell Beach and managed to get a powered site due to a cancellation. The facilities were fine, showers clean and camp kitchen adequate. However, the site is overcrowded with very little room between pitches. The worst thing was the lack of recycling facilities on the site and it really upset me to see...

Thank you for your feedback we use a International waste disposal company who specialize in recycling , however this being said we will investigate further to ensure that what can be recovered is being recovered, by the vendor. We try to minimize our impact and are already exclusively use recycled paper products in amenities. Regards Warren

We stayed in one of the front lower units and it had everything that one could possibly need. It was spotless, new and comfortable. Fully screened with Crimsafe mesh so you can have the screen closed and still see out onto the lovely beach. The service was excellent. Friendly and there was nothing that anyone would not do for you....

We (three friends) stayed at Newell Beach Caravan Park for two nights on an unpowered site. All amenities were suited for everything and the staff are one of the kindest and most helpful I have ever met. This charming place is definately worth staying at when travelling through this beautiful area.

We stayed here for a week in one of the upstairs studio units from New Year's Eve onward. The units don't feature prominently on the website so it was a bit of a gamble but my were we impressed! My guess is that many people don't know about the units when in fact they are only 15mins down the road...

This place is not fancy but is clean, small, great location but most of all the owners are fantastic. We stayed for a week on a powered caravan site to explore the Daintree region. It is close to Mossman gorge and the Daintree. Also easy to do day trips to Cape Tribulation. A hidden gem and reasonably priced too.

“the two bottom units get a beautiful sea breeze most of the time. For vans they only have a couple of sites for really large vans and in all cases it pays to book ahead as they get a lot of repeat custom.”
