We stayed in one of the cabins with a fireplace. The cabin was handy to the reception / restaurant but secluded enough to not be distrubed from any other guests in the other cabins. It was great to wake up and be so peaceful watching the parrot's feed on the lawn. Highly recommend staying here for a relaxing break away...

Enjoyed a 2 night stay. Geoff and his staff were very welcoming and friendly. They always had time for a chat and a laugh. Our cabin was very comfortable and the fire kept us cosy and warm. The complimentary breakfast basket was absolutely brilliant. The bar was a great place for a few afternoon drinks including beers direct from the...

We lived in Stanthorpe for almost 4 years and only left about 7 months ago. We needed to stay overnight so we decided to give happy valley a try - I had always wanted to stay there. The cabin was well equipped and we were given our breakfast crate on arrival which was plenty for us. My fiancé really enjoyed...

What a beautiful place! From the second we arrived we felt at home, the receptionist was lovely. We were given breakfast crates (if you have food intolerances, then a phone call in advance may be useful - I took my own). The cabin allocated (13) was in a great location, the fire was already going which meant all we had...

The whole experience from when one arrived was great. Very friendly staff, clean and cosy cabins, fire was burning making the cabin warm but not over powering. Meals were great and as usual plenty available should one had wanted to indulge! The bar is also well stocked with various beers(made on site) and Stanthorpe wines.

We, 2 couples stayed in 2 cabins. Cosy, wonderful log fire, with wood downstairs- in fairly easy reach. Equiped with torch - thank you. Breakfast basket catered for gluten free. Eat in breakfast on Sunday, enjoyed by all & plenty. Booked winery tour for us, very accomodating and organised. Beer enjoyed also. Thanks for a wonderful stay.

Meals In The restaurant are excellent and reasonably priced, breakfast basket and the self serve breakfast provided on the Sunday morning is fantastic. The beer at the brewery is excellent and tastes great,...

Stayed the weekend, did a wine 🍷 tour with Filippo's. The cabin was great and each one has a wood heater. The restaurant and surrounds are a great bonus, must go back for more. A true one stop shop for staying... Oh did I mention they also have a brewery!!

We decided to have my birthday celebration at Happy Valley Retreat and Brewery because there are cabins located in the grounds and out of town visitors would have less hassle getting back to a motel after the do. We made use of their special dinner menu for functions and I am most impressed with the trouble the chef and Anna...

Booked Friday and Saturday night in bush setting cabin. Staff service is excellent. After booking we were in contact with the brewery as the restaurant was booked out with a function on the Friday night and could not cater for us for dinner. They advised us of different options in town and booked a bus to collect us and table...
