We loved the location and the short walk to town shops & pub. Beautiful untouched bushland with lovely gardens. Plenty of room and we even had some friends over for dinner one night. Highly recommend for comfort and cleanliness and just lovely to stay in.

The Lodge provided the perfect opportunity to do some lazy birdwatching from the comfort of the lovely outdoor area. Privacy, quietness and magnificent bush surrounds with the native plants in full flower, it was a honeyeaters smorgasbord at the Lodge! It was so very relaxing in front of the chiminea at night too. A really beautiful place to relax.

This is a great little place in Yungaburra. Everything you would need for a family stay. Great big bath, and wonderful views. Only a short walk to platypus viewing and into town. Nice little extras like some chocolate and candles. It was a great place to relax. Recommend %100

Have recently spent 2 nights staying in The Lodge on a "girls" trip. The Lodge, while not luxurious, had everything we needed, was clean, and the beds were comfortable. We didn't light the fire in the loungeroom, but did enjoy sitting outside around the fire with our wine and cheese! This is a great place for a family group. The...

My partner & I recently had what has become an annual holiday to the Tablelands. This time we decided to stay in Yungaburra as the township is quiet, yet still has a few really nice restaurants and some lovely specialty shops to visit. We stayed in the Birdwing Cottage and found it to be spacious and well appointed. I particularly...

Two couples stayed in Birdwing for 5nights. The cottage was clean, cosy, comfortable, and perfectly situated for a quiet getaway. It is on the edge of bushland, and 5 minutes walk to the centre of town. We walked through the bushland to Petersons Creek, and saw platypus each evening, and two Tree Kangaroos on Day One. Also saw bandicoots, snakes...

We spent a week with family in the Birdwing Cottage and it was just wonderful. The cottage is well equipped - plenty of cutlery, plates etc. It is a beautiful cottage - well set up and a joy to stay in. Very comfortable and it was great to relax in the spa. The positioning of the cottage at the top...

Stayed a week with family in the Birdwing cottage just before Christmas. The cottage is absolutely beautiful, nestled into bushland, it's lovely, quiet and cool. The house is quite well stocked, plenty of fresh towels, tea, coffee and even milo. Extra toilet paper and more than two sandalwood sticks (ie. mozzie repellants) would've been great - but easy enough to...

We have just spent a couple of nights staying in the Bushland Cottages - lodge. I must say I was VERY impressed !! For once the photos showing on their website and here on TA were "correct and up-to-date", so many places display photos of what the accommodation "once" looked like then when you arrive it is a very different...

We stayed two nights in the Kingfisher Cottage. It is a glorious location, very peaceful, quiet; just the place to relax. The cottages are on the edge of town located in bushland, but an easy walk (<10mins) back to shops/restaurants. The cottage was very spacious and had a fabulous deck. The kitchen contained all the necessary items, except a dishwasher....
