Great location for wine region. Huge cook-your-own breakfast. Friendly hosts complete with visits from chooks. Also close to Victor Harbour where we hired bikes and cycled to Goolwa - 30km, easy track, great views - put bikes on steam train back to Victor Harbour. Also, stroll the boardwalk at Hallet's Cove - great views and stunning landforms/landscapes.

This was a lovely little cottage with much to love, we stayed in the Absinthe cottage. Equipped with a kitchen as it was wet we cooked indoors. We enjoyed our hot breakfast in the morning of farm fresh eggs, bacon, sausages, mushrooms, tomatoes and fresh home baked bread delivered to our door. Although the bad weather prevented us from checking... More

I booked in here with my husband on a whim to have a short getaway in Adelaide. It was absolutely brilliant! Mike and Donna were so lovely, and we felt like we had the place to ourselves for almost our whole stay. The breakfast provisions were delicious and plentiful, and the position of the property is perfect. We loved cooling... More

We stayed for one night on our way to Kangaroo Island but wished it could have been for longer. We had a very warm welcome by Misty and the owners who took the time to show us where our dinner options were. In the end as the breakfast supplies in the fridge were so plentiful we ended up just cooking... More

We were 2 couples staying for just 1 night. Each suite (either Lavender or Absinthe) mirrors each other, is clean and well appointed. We were there on a very warm day, so the pool was a much appreciated refreshment. Donna and Mike were wonderful hosts, visiting with us, making dinner reservations and helping with directions. The cook your own breakfast,... More

Stayed last weekend for a very rare weekend away with the wife, very pleasant location and nice tidy room, although it is not a cottage I don't believe it professes to be, it is of very adequately sized and has plenty of space to either sit inside or enjoy the tranquility outside. Breakfast provisions were well in excess of what... More

My hubby booked here for a birthday surprise for me and get away which was long overdue. It has been advertised as a "cottage" when actually it isn't. If you're wanting more room or to stay more than two nights I would suggest you look elsewhere. Our room consisted of a bedroom with a shower as an ensuite and a... More

As mentioned by others the generous breakfast supplies didn't disappoint. Was also great to have the BBQ for an easy evening meal in. Make sure you sit down with Donna for her tips on favourite cellar doors and restaurants. Booked this b&b looking forward to at least one lazy afternoon by the pool. Unfortunately the weather was rather bleak (end... More

Very private rooms in a lovely location. The food supplies are generous and the BBQ a welcome addition meaning we could eat in a couple of nights which is lovely when travelling for a few weeks. The rooms are somewhat rustic and could do with a bit of an update but not enough to put me off staying again. Donna... More

We loved staying here, unfortunately only for one night. Warm welcome from Donna with lots of information on things we wanted, including making a booking for us for dinner nearby. The cottage has a secluded courtyard, perfect to relax in. The bedroom is very comfortable and the bathroom good too. Kitchen has everything including an excellent selection of food to... More
