The Anchorage is a lovely 'Blue Plaque ' hotel with small but well appointed rooms ideal for a one night stopover journey along the south coast. Good food, log burner, friendly and helpful staff. Victor Harbour is not big but the 'Anchorage' is close to all in this stylish close community, including walking out and around ' Granite Island' site...

I booked this online, having never stayed here. Booked an Upstairs Seafront Private Balcony Spa Room - It was clean, spacious and had great views. The bathroom was huge and had a great spa bath! Our view from our room was over the bowls club, but it was beautiful to see the ocean. The bed was the only downfall of...

The Anchorage is ideally situated facing out onto the water. The rooms are of a good size with the standard features, TV, Fridge, Kettle and room heaters. Across the road overlooking the Lawn Bowls ring is a magnificent view of the bay. Within a short walk the Information Centre and visitor attractions are all available, along with the multiple old...

This Hotel was in a fantastic location. As I had my two teenage sons with me we had a "family room". Room was small but very comfortable and quiet even though on the street. Lovely view. Convenient walk to restaurants. The restaurant/lounge was so relaxing we could have stayed in there all day. I would definitely rebook this Hotel if...

Is the best word to describe the Anchorage at Victor Harbour. Lovely heritage building which has been renovated. Our room was clean and comfortable with a beautiful view of the ocean. Dinner in the bistro was excellent. Super friendly staff. No better place to sit on a sunday afternoon with a cold drink and while away the hours. We will...

The room was very small and the en suite so small that it was hard not to hit my head on the door when using the toilet. The lights were not well positioned so it was hard to have enough light to read in bed. The TV was positioned on the wall above the en suite door - it was...

This was a line booking, never stayed there before so didn't know what to expect. What we found was a lovely old pub in impeccable condition with a great bistro. The rom we had was an upstairs balcony room with a very comfortable 4 poster bed & ensuite. Our view was over the bowls club to the ocean, very calming....

Lovely room with access to balcony to ocean views. Big comfortable bed, decent bathroom with decent sized spa bath. Good for a weekend get away. When we stayed we got a winter deal for the spa room and included 2 free breakfasts at the restaurant down stairs.

What is the fixation for serving hot meals on wooden platters. Mine was warped in the middle with small splits where the laminate had parted. $17 for 10 pieces of calamari served on a stack of oversalted chips. No salad and a garlic aoli. Waitress said they stopped serving salad with the meal because customers wasted it. Odd reason. Better...

Enjoyed our short stay at this lovely renovated hotel, across the road from the water. A lovely clean, room with en-suite, comfortable and quiet, close to supermarket and laundrette. We enjoyed our dinner in the restaurant, great friendly staff, good menu options, warmed by the toasty fireplace. Breakfast the following morning was ok, room for improvement there.
