My mother, two sisters, and I recently enjoyed a surprise birthday weekend here, and had a wonderful time. All four rooms were very clean and comfortable. There are nice amenities provided, like free wifi, a mini fridge, and electric kettle with a variety of hot teas. There is a restaurant within walking distance of the B&B for dinner. It's near...

There is little I can add to the already great reviews. I just loved the place, and think it's the best thing about Walhalla. I can add what I had for breakfast, which was excellent: homemade waffles with lots of fresh, real whipped cream and a raspberry puree, side of bacon, Scottish tea, and mango juice. I'm looking forward to...

Walhalla is small town in the north eastern part of North Dakota. It is next to one of the most beautiful places in North Dakota, Pembina Gorge. The Sanctuary Guest House is the perfect place to go and visit the Gorge and Walhalla. You can also go across the border to Canada and do a little shopping. The Guest house...

Walhalla is a lovely town right up near the Canadian border. The natural beauty of the area is reason enough to visit. If you do, stay here. Deidre, the owner, is lovely and welcoming. It's been her family's home since the turn of the 20th Century. The furniture and photos are all family pieces. I was given the Granada room,...

Our room was lovely, CLEAN, well kept, roomy and inviting. It was a very relaxing 3 day get-away. The owners are a mother/daughter team and were warm and friendly. Breakfast was fresh, and scratch made - jam even! We were there during their off season so we missed out on the Eatery - which runs May thru Dec, so we...

Wonderful bed and breakfast in a serene and peaceful setting. My room was lovely, the bed was very comfortable and linen and bath towels were great. I searched the web before booking my reservation and I was not disappointed. I was here on a 3-day business trip and had to depart early each morning; Deirdre prepared me a delightful to...

We spent the 4th of July holiday in Walhalla this year with another couple and ate at the Santuary guest house. The food was wonderful, the grounds were beautiful. I would definitely recommend eating here if you come through this cute little town in NE North Dakota. We were able to tour the rooms as well and they looked warm...

This house is beautifully decorated and sparkling clean-unlike the the dusty kitsch-filled B&Bs where I have stayed before. The service was wonderful. When we arrived late and hungry, Deirdre prepared a lovely supper for us even though the tea room was closed. We were so comfortable. The bed was great too.

I stayed at Sanctuary Guest House for 4 days to get a little "me" time. It was wonderful! The guest rooms are very comfortable and nicely furnished. The little touches like soft fluffy towels and a tea set in each room make it feel extra special, and the beds are so comfy with organic cotton sheets and fluffy pillows -...

The Sanctuary Guest House is a European-style bed and breakfast owned and run by a mother-daughter team. These two have renovated a large home that belonged to their grandmother in a charming valley close to the Canadian border. My husband and I were surprised by the beautiful rooms, delicious food, and the warm and friendly owners. Our room - the...
