We knew from the moment we turned into the property that the experience of staying at the Marigold was going to be special. The house is charming and the hospitality exceptional. The freshly made breakfast really hit the spot. The farm fresh eggs, homemade sausage, breads and a special treat of heirloom tomatoes grown on the property were prepared for...

Overall, I would give this B&B a 4 out of 5. My husband and I stayed here for a long weekend trip to get away from "busy" life. It was very relaxing. First of all, the house is in a beautiful location off of US Route 322 (easily accessible but not lots of traffic noise). Everything was very well taken...

Do you like the fantasy of living in a great house? Do you enjoy a warm welcome, friendly conversation and a real desire to accommodate? Do you like to enjoy the our doors and a leisurely walk through a friendly wood? I found all of these at Marigold B&B. Leaving another B&B that was "not as advertised" I needed a...

I booked the Marigold B+B for my daughter's wedding shower and she and her fiance and I decided to also stay over night the weekend of the shower. The Marigold was the perfect setting for the shower and the rooms were very comfortable and charming. The breakfast the next morning was delicious. I don't think I've ever had a better...

We went to Marigold for the weekend and had a great time. The breakfast was wonderful, the Care Taker of the Bed and Breakfast was very personable and extremely helpful in helping us find restaurants and things to do. The rooms were very clean and the setting of the home was very peaceful. I would definitely recommend Marigold to anyone...

The other reviewer couldn't possibly be referring to "Bella", the resident dog at Marigold ! Bella is part of the family...full of love and welcoming energy to all of the guests. She does not have the run of the house, but is ever at her owner's side, and is one of the sweetest, as well as sweet-smelling, dogs I've ever...

I agree this does not look like the website. It is beyond tired --dirty and occupied by a very large and stinky dog. The rooms were dingy, only 1 towel was initially provided for 2 people. You can find better not far from Chesterland. This place needs a complete overhaul.

This B&B looked so cute in the pictures, but is actually quite run down. The grounds look like they have not been maintained in several years, and the whole place looks dingy. Innkeeper was nice but the whole experience was disappointing.

We did not stay at Marigold because we received no response to our email inquiry. When will businesses learn that if they offer a website and email address, they need to treat those queries the same way as they would phone calls? It's simply business lost!

“If you are interested in a jacuzzi tub, ask for a room with this as not all the rooms have one, and the rooms vary in size as well. Our room was a nice size, but some others are smaller. Ask the owner for some of her wonderful tea if you drink tea as well!”
