Graduate Columbus garners praise for its prime location, nestled among a bevy of shops and restaurants, and for its exceptionally clean accommodations. Guests appreciate the professional and welcoming staff, which contributes greatly to the overall positive experience. On the flip side, some guests feel that the hotel's value is diminished by unexpected fees and a lack of amenities.
While opinions on the atmosphere are split, with some travelers finding it lacking, others enjoy the cozy vibe. Room sizes and uninspired décor have drawn criticism, although comfort and cleanliness are consistently recognized.

The location in short North is close to all kinds of shopping and restaurants and also close to downtown. The hotel was clean and the staff were very friendly.

The Graduate Columbus exceeded my expectations for the value and price (note I was there at the end of July on a “quiet” weekend for the University). The common areas and rooms are well appointed with Ohio State memorabilia from Buckeye candy wallpaper in the bathrooms to a John Glenn themed chain, Ohio state flag bed throw. My King (bed) room on the 8th floor was small, but very clean and well appointed with master lighting a view over Short North, in-room safe, coffee and mini-refrigerator (mine was not working).
My only gripe was the hotel has limited under roof food options and that may be intentional given its excellent central location in Short North within walking distance to an abundance of restaurants, cafes and bars. There is a Shake Shack attached to the lobby and “Trophy Room” bar/cafe on the other side of the lobby. All three nights I was at the hotel, the Trophy Room did not have Scarlett Lager on draft due to the lack of a refill keg per the two bartenders I talked to and that is despite the fact that they were advertising it with a pamphlet at the entrance. It would have probably been better to have simply removed the pamphlet.

We come down to Ohio yearly to see an Ohio state game and after years we have now found the only Hotel we will stay at here. From the second we checked in the experience was incredible. The front desk staff was friendly, helpful and went above and beyond to give us little Ohio state gift bags, hangover kits, and even provided some cold beer for our walk to the room! The manager who’s name I believe was Yoshi was one of the friendliest people I’ve met and she made us feel at home there. The decore was awesome down to little details such as the key cards being old student ID’s of Ohio State athletes. The location was fenomenal as well being in the heart of short north only steps from restaurants and nightlife and a 40 minute walk/ 6 minute drive from Ohio Stadium. I can’t wait to come back and make this hotel part of our yearly tradition.

Clean, friendly and comfortable. Plenty of good eateries close by and bus to the university is just outside with only a five minute trip to get to our destination so all in all perfect. Like so many hotels worldwide the cost of a bedroom is more than it should be but that said it was good value if a little expensive but a clean, warm comfortable room after an international journey is very welcome.

There's nothing wrong with The Graduate Columbus - but there's nothing great about it either. Most Graduate's are far better executed than this property - the lobby, interior space and rooms are all very uninspired. Also it's a renovated older building with narrow hallways, short ceilings and exposed concrete ceilings in the rooms. They don't really have breakfast - more like grab and go, and during the time I was there, there were never more than 5-10 people in the lobby and bar combined - just no buzz/energy at the place. It's too bad because the neighborhood is really fun and interesting. Bottom line is you could do alot worse than Graduate Columbus ...but you could also do alot better.

The location was a major reason for staying at the Graduate but expected some luxury also with the pricing. Location was good that you can walk to numerous restaurants. We thought from the website there was a hotel restaurant but was not, only a bar. No in room coffee maker - only instant coffee packets. No microwave to warm leftovers. Only real coffee was across the street. King room was the smallest we have ever stayed in. Was a dark room with poor lighting. Limited clothes drawers and closet space for a week stay.
Valet $37 parking was on website with an onsite self parking. The self parking $30 per day plus in and out fee was not stated - paid to us the expensive valet.
Would not stay there again.

A trendy yet affordable hotel near you favorite downtown Columbus locations. It is a 6 minute walk to the Columbus Convention Center, with valet parking at $33 a day. Any employee we encountered was beyond accommodating. The rooms all smelled delightful! Other employees from our company that booked rooms each had a different scent. If you are sensitive to smells, you may want to mention this at booking/checking in. Each room is decorated in a trendy fashion, sporting decor that attributes to Columbus history. The bed was comfortable, no different than any other hotel I've stayed in, but the pillows were extra dreamy! There are 2 elevators for the hotel, but it didn't cause much of a hold up. Be sure to ask for ice at the front desk, there aren't ice machines near the hotel rooms. Across the street is Insomnia Cookies, with options for dining like Bakersfield or Shake Shack.

Great location for a college visit, friendly staff, and clean. Many restaurant opportunities within walking distance including the Trophy room on the premises. The cost to use the valet is $2 more per night than self parking, so use the valet. The only issue is the size of the rooms, they feel small, almost like a college dorm, butt that is the feel they go for.

This hotel will truly fascinate any history buff, or those like me who look for an escape from "home" in their getaways. The decoration and atmosphere of this hotel provide a one-of-a-kind, unique experience. The staff were also very sociable and considerate. The location of the hotel is pristine, with it's front entrance right on the main street in the center of the artisan neighborhood of Columbus, with shops, bars, and restaurants galore. I certainly recommend! Just make sure you put your "Do Not Disturb" sign on the door before bed so housekeeping will not knock on your door super early. Learned that one the hard way.

The Graduate is a nice enough hotel and is in a wonderfully convenient area. The college dorm decor is a fun kitsch for the first ten minutes until you realize the quality of everything is about that level. Our bathroom door didn't latch so it wouldn't stay closed. The walls and door are Super thin so get ready to hear everything your neighbors are up to, even when they're clearly just talking at a normal noise level. The absolute worst though is this hotel's "valet" parking. You park the car in their lot, take your keys to the valet, and then spend about 10 minutes waiting for them to fill out a "valet" ticket (hope your bags aren't heavy cause you're not able to check in until you go through this process), and then the valet takes your keys. Forgot something in the car? Get the keys from the valet. Leaving and coming back? Get ready for another unnecessary 20 minutes to do the whole process in and out (loved the part when they asked us if we had "the other form" and we got to say, this is literally everything you gave us). Want to load the car before you check out? Hope no one's ahead of you trying to get their keys! The valets were super friendly but it was the most ridiculous, unnecessary, and inconvenient process. This is not the Hilton, chill out and let me just put a parking pass on my car and keep my keys.

Do you mean a cot/roll-away? You'd have to contact them directly. It also will depend on which room; the standard rooms are quite small and I don' think there'd be room.
"Loved how close this place is to Jeni’s ice cream (best ice cream in the US) , and Townhall (restaurant and bar) - both walkable from here"Read full review
