Guests have called out The Junto hotel for its impressive range of amenities, including a popular rooftop bar and cozy lobby, as well as the unique gear closet for activity rentals. The hotel rooms receive frequent praise for their comfort, stylish decorations, and spotless condition. Many visitors are charmed by the hotel's eclectic and inviting atmosphere, especially the lobby's delightful scent and communal coffee bar. The convenient location near downtown and attractions like the Ohio Center of Science and Industry is a highlight for travelers, as is the exceptional service that contributes to a memorable stay. While the hotel is considered to provide good value, some guests note the cost of extras can add up.

The hotel is gorgeous and the service is wonderful - from the front desk to people you run into in the hallways and elevators. We ate in the restaurant, had drinks in the bar and had breakfast in the lobby. The food and beverages were awesome everywhere. Our room was beautiful and enchanting and the towels and sheets were very nice. We loved going across the street to the science museum and walked all over the place. Would not stay anywhere else in Columbus and it is worth a trip just to stay at this fantastic hotel!

What an exceptional experience my family and I recently had at The Junto. From our friendly and patient front desk attendants, Olivia and Brittany, to our caring housekeeper, Kathy, this is the place to go in Columbus.

Upon arrival with our two toddlers, the front desk attendants made checking in seamless so we were able to go right up to our room. Everyone we met along the way said hello to our boys and asked us if we needed anything. We felt like we had the place to ourselves even though there were people all around.

Our housekeeper, Kathy, set up our boys' blankets and stuffed animals as if they were home in their own bed. It made our stay with young children so much more comfortable, and our room was spotless each day.

The views from the hotel made us feel like we were within and without of the city at the same time. It was an amazing experience to be able to see the city while feeling like you're out of the hustle and bustle.

We had dinner at Little West Tavern on our first night and Muhammad made sure to take care of everything for us. Our drinks were delicious and the kids' meals were out right away, he made sure that they got their meals as soon as possible. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting and the menu boasted many different options. I ordered their signature burger and it was delicious.

For breakfast, Chef Leah provided the best french toast my picky little eaters had ever tasted, and my omelette was incredible. Marcos made sure he was available for whatever our party needed as we dined with eight people total.

We took our boys across the street to CoSi, which was awesome and with our stay received two free tickets. There's also a great playground and walking park that the kids loved.

At Maudine's the in house coffee shop, baristas Brooke and Camryn delighted in making us caramel dolce de leche lattes which was just one of the many delectable flavors offered.

Every aspect of The Junto enhanced our stay in Columbus, and the professionalism of the staff, the top-notch accommodations, incredible facilities, and delicious food came together in the best way. We cannot wait for our next trip.

The Junto is the coolest hotel I’ve experienced in recent memory. I say “experienced” because that’s the best description I can think of. But what else would I expect from the only independently owned hotel in all of Columbus?

When my wife and I walked in, we were immediately drawn in by the warm, inviting, creative and communal lobby. The bar, soft seating, tables for getting an hour or two of work done, and coffee shop all made us feel like we’d been transported to a swanky yet hip boutique hotel in NYC or San Francisco.

Our room was cleanly designed. Touches like a personal note from a staff member, Path water in an aluminum bottle, Hen of the Woods potato chips, Bodum electric water kettle with Dripkit pour over coffee, and a special cookie from Maudine’s coffee shop all pointed to the excellence and quality of The Junto. The thick bathroom towels (better than the ones we registered for when we were married), artisan soaps, and general design are perfect. (I loved the shower tile and vanity.) And the signature scent in the hallways and common spaces helped complete the experience.

Then, there was the dining. The roof top Blind Eye bar serves a mean Old Fashioned, flawless deviled eggs plus the best view of the Columbus skyline in the city. Literally. The Little West Tavern has an incredible vibe with an open kitchen, creative food and great drinks. The tomahawk steak is worth the investment, and I tried bone marrow & toast for the first time - so so good. The biscuits and cedar plank salmon were stellar, too.

Because it’s so new, I believe The Junto is still a hidden gem, but I’m confident its notoriety is about to soar. Get there before it becomes difficult to book a room or a reservation. It’s one of the best spots for staying, dining or just a drink. We’ll be back and will recommend it as THE hotel in Columbus to everyone we know.

We ended up not staying here. We recently heard about this new hotel. We are from the greater Cincinnati area, but we’re both raised in the central Ohio area. We decided on a Friday night to make last-minute plans to go to Columbus. Spend two nights in a hotel visit friends family in the city. We checked rates online and the rooms were about $250 a night. We looked at similar quality hotels, the Marriott, the Hilton, etc. And discovered the Junto was about $25 more a night give or take. As we were continuing the booking process for the Junto a final page shows you the total for the room, taxes and fees. The grand total for two nights was going to be $750 after taxes and fees even though the room rate was only $250 a night it was almost 7 PM so we decided to call the hotel to see if there was any chance they would lower the rate for a last-minute booking, the person we spoke with was nice and professional with a young sounding voice. We explained to him that the rate was extraordinarily high when the taxes and fees are added in in comparison to their competition that we were in-state travelers, and that we were hoping there were some ability for the room rate to be lowered that would provide them more occupancy and give us an opportunity to check out their hotel at a rate that is reasonable and comparable to their competition. I was placed on hold while presumably this individual spoke with a member of management. Upon return about 10 minutes later we were advised that was the absolute lowest rate they could provide us. needless to say we did not spend the weekend here. Instead we went with the competition paid a total of $525 for a similar room that included charging multiple drinks in multiple days of breakfast to our room. I do not understand how the room at the junto went up $125 a night with taxes and fees seems a bit crazy considering the market. Not to mention, had we booked this room we would still be paying for parking. I truly wish this business, the best of success, but I’m not certain how it can survive with these high rates in comparison to the Hilton or canopy downtown the Meridian or the Marriott in Granville just doesn’t seem doable.

I attended a bridal shower at the Junto in Columbus. It was the perfect venue. The staff was phenomenal at every level. Jace and Drew from the valet company were patient and kind when I misplaced my ticket after a long night. The staff that attended to us during the shower went above and beyond to ensure that every guest had what they needed. The food was incredible. Everyone was raving about the roast beef. The wedge salad was very fresh and presented beautifully. Jess and Annaliese ensured that they continuously refilled the trays and came up to us to offer additional coffee and tea. I recommend the Junto and its staff for any special event that you have in the Columbus area.

I stayed at The Junto this week for work and the hotel is exceptionally detailed. The decor in the lobby space and also the room is fun but sophisticated. The attention to detail is outstanding and it really feels like you are staying at someone's home. Someone's home that has several bars and restaurants. The lobby bar was great for a happy hour beverage while catching up on emails. The restaurant Little West had an excellent burger and great cocktails. The Brass Eye on the roof had incredible views of the Columbus skyline and made you feel that you stumbled across a secret speakeasy. Highly recommend and will stay again.

Our stay at The Junto was pretty special. We arrived late due to a flight delay and were definitely not in the best of moods. That immediately changed when met with Sean and Jacob at the Front Desk. They welcomed us with smiling faces and gave us a tour of the lobby, which is basically just a massive library. When we got up to our room we found that we were complimentary upgraded to a city landscape view of the entire city skyline and river walk! We were wired after seeing the library and our room so we decided to have a nightcap at the rooftop bar Brass Eye. Talk about city skyline views! I mean it was amazing, we were seated at a corner table and our server, Brian, brought us a bottle of sparkling rose when he heard about our problematic travel day. I mean the service was unbelievable!

That was only the beginning ! That night we slept like babies after receiving the royal treatment. When we woke up the next morning we visited the coffeeshop Maudine's. What an awesome vibe. It is themed and designed after a cow named Maudine. The coffee was so delicious we had it almost three times a day. Thank you Brooke & Camryn for your delicious recommendations! When lunch came around we headed to the Trade Room Bar and ordered two of the smash burgers. Mouthwatering is an understatement. We were so shocked at how amazing all of the food and drinks had been so far it was crazy.

That night we headed to Little West Tavern and tried the scallion wings. We were blown away! We also had the broccolini, which was cooked on the hearth oven. It was amazing. The two of us split the Ohio Waygu entrée with the brown butter potatoes and were absolutely stuffed. Little did we know that they had coconut drizzled churros, we couldn't resist! I would give this place a 10 out of 10!

We are so grateful for the team at The Junto for turning our stay into one we will be talking about for years! Thank you! We look forward to coming back.

Decided to try their brass eye rooftop bar . We did make reservations and would suggest since they were busy even early in night . Comfortable outdoor seating . You can park with valet or pay with app on street . The drinks were good . One drink came and was not as described and they did replace . The food was mediocre at best . Tuna tartar bland and with a lot of mushy guacamole . The corn peach burrito would have been good if corn and peaches were fresh . The chicken with peach bbq was good but for the price was very small and came out lukewarm .Service was a bit slow and our waiter did apologize for wait on both drinks and food . I would go again for view and drinks but avoid food
Be prepared very expensive compared to other local restaurants

Nicely appointed hotel, with a wonderful story! Rooms are very comfortable, clean and well decorated- my week stay for work felt more like an apartment stay rather than a hotel. The lobby is beautiful and the coffee shop, rooftop bar, restaurant and Poutine window were great! Friendly staff and awesome gear room where you could borrow bikes!
