Away from the crowds of southern Portugal, deep in the heart of unspoiled rural part of the country. Time had stopped there. Perhaps that's why shrewd residents of Algarve are seeking refuge among the hills and away from tourist prices. Vera and her husband are making everything possible and impossible to create very authentic and yet very comfortable experience for...

This was a stop on our cycling holiday in the monchique mountains It was absolutely excellent in every way. Nominally self catering they provided an excellent breakfast and the owner also owns the restaurant in the village. We had our evening meal there- Barbecued meats, salad and chips just kept coming till we could eat no more. The place was...

Very relaxing place. The small apartment where we stayed had all we need. Very friendly people. Totally recommend for who's looking for a mountain Holliday. The fresh bread as a compliment every morning was appreciated. Nice walks around.

Lovely setting. Comfortable room. Spotlessly clean. Service very good - attentive but not over bearing. Would definitely return as a thoroughly enjoyable stay. Breakfast is authentic, tasty and plentiful. Was lovely to laze by the pool.

This was a trip with a friend who wanted to know alentejo...and wanted a "turismo rural" kind of experience. The hotel was just excellent, the staff very helpful and the rooms and facilities quite clean, simple but efficient and really right to the purpose ( rest, discharged from the daily busy life and have a pleasant time). Esta foi uma...
