I stayed at the Gambier House in late August. I had the Victorian Room, which was very pretty and comfortable. Gambier is a very small, safe town and I arrived to find a note on the door welcoming me inside and letting me know where to find my room key. Betsy's breakfast the next morning was superb, and I enjoyed...

My wife, daughter, and I recently stayed at Gambier House while on a college trip to Ohio, and we thoroughly enjoyed it. As another reviewer noted, this is significantly less expensive than the other options in Gambier, but we never felt that we were making any sacrifice. In fact, the Gambier House was the perfect spot for us. It was...

Revisited Gambier recently and stayed in the Gambier House for the first time. A great bed and breakfast that's significantly cheaper than the other options in Gambier. While cheaper it doesn't sacrifice quality or comfort. Beds in the Green Room were outstanding ( I actually want to ask what kind they were) and the room was cozy. Only downside is...

We've been to Gambier several times but we have never been able to stay in town before. What a treat to stay in the center of town and to be in such a comfortable place. The room was charming, spacious and well decorated. Breakfasts were delicious and the conversation was congenial. Though there were other guests, we were felt encroached...

We recently visited Kenyon College with our high school junior. While the school is WAY out of our budget, this lovely B&B was not! We had lovely accommodations and a scrumptious breakfast. The only downer was that the bed was a VERY small queen-size bed. We did Ok, but you should be aware of that. All in all, a lovely...

Visiting from the UK for my god-daughters Kenyon graduation I was charmed by the warmth of Betsy's welcome and delighted by the varied breakfasts. The room was comfortable and the central location excellent. Highly recommended>

We stayed here while visiting relatives in Gambier. The location is perfect - right on the edge of Kenyon College, which has a beautiful campus offering great places to walk. Gambier is very quiet and peaceful (though admittedly we were not there during the school year). There are also several places very close by for lunch and dinner. The innkeeper,...

The Gambier House is cozy, charming, very clean, very convenient to Kenyon College--you won't even need your vehicle--and Innkeeper Betsy makes a daily gourmet breakfast. Although it is a bread and breakfast, each room is situated so that guests barely see the other guests. I've stayed at the Kenyon Inn (when it is available, which is almost never since Kenyon...

“The Drawer Room is amazing but the shower in the bathroom is stifling even for someone who is not claustrophobic. The other room we stayed in had two full size beds and seemed cramped while the Drawer Room seemed bigger - even the bed but the shower in the first room was great. Right down at the end of the hall.”

“Old renovated house with stairs to most bedrooms. We stayed in the drawers room which is quirky but fun. Has a full sized bed, so a couple should ask for a room with a larger bed.”
