We went to the Polly Harper Inn as we were attending an event at a nearby winery. The location is perfect-- step away from several wineries and surrounded by vines. The accommodations were very clean. We enjoyed the whirlpool tub and gas fire. We woke up later and had breakfast waiting downstairs. We ate in our bedroom and took our...

I've just had my 3rd stay at the Polly Harper B&B and each visit has been consistently impeccable. There are 3 rooms to choose among and the owners are in their house adjacent to the B&B. Each room--2 of which--I've stayed in have clear character. The place is very tidy and comfortable. Robert's room has an awesome fountain and nearly...

Last week we stayed at the Polly Harper Inn up in Ohio wine country and we had a wonderful stay there. We stayed in the Polly Harper room and it was a large room with a separate dining area and a tower that you could climb up in and view the surrounding scenery from four directions. We could see Lake...

We stayed here last summer. I've been meaning to review it as we'd like to go back this summer. We were able to get Annie's room. It is he smaller of the rooms, but had plenty of room for the two of us. The grounds are beautiful and it's very quiet and relaxing there. You are not bothered by anyone...

My husband and I were able to stay here for a last-minute getaway this past weekend. We were thrilled to find such a lovely b&b and beautiful room. The proximity to multiple wineries and gorgeous surroundings was a pleasant surprise. I think the quality of the room was comparable to some places we have stayed that were far more expensive....

My husband and I travel quite a bit and rely on trip advisor reviews to help us make decisions on dining, hotels, etc. We don't always review the same place, but we each do have our own opinion so there are times that we do. We write reviews to help fellow travelers, and also to help managers and owners improve...

We find it may be helpful to other B&B owners that we rate these two guests, just as they felt it helpful to rate us(twice). Honesty in their reviews was sadly lacking, as evidenced by our previous response. The breakfast we serve is pictured and described on our website and has been for some time. So to act surprised leads...

Short version is that my wife and I very much enjoyed our stay and consider the Polly Harper Inn ("PHI") to be a great value. The PHI is situated in a beautiful setting, which rivals some of the finer settings in the Napa/Sonoma region (which my wife and I have had the good fortune to enjoy over the years). The...

Normally we do not respond to generally good reviews. This review, however, is riddled with inaccuracies and false assumptions. Firstly, the Polly Harper Inn is 480 ft. from our home. Not the quarter mile (1,320 ft.) that the reviewer stated. From our kitchen window we can plainly see the B&B parking lot and entrance door. Secondly, our camera, with which...

I didn't know Ohio thought they had a wine country. They do have a very nice bed and breakfast. The hosts are very nice indeed, and the location is very quiet. My room and bed were comfortable, the shower was good, and I enjoyed breakfast.

We took a chance on our first try at a bed and breakfast stay. The website was a VERY good description of what you get. The Inn keeper, Susan, was very accommodating. The breakfast provided was very tasty and the coffe was good (that's a plus!) We stayed in Annie's Room and though the smallest of the suites, it was...

This is a first class inn, that is sure to please. Surrounded by vineyards, it is quiet and the grounds provide many spots to sit and enjoy the beautiful gardens alive with birds and flowers. We stayed two nights in the Polly Harper room and spent several hours up in the tower, where there is a cozy spot for a...

“We were in Annie's Room, which is quite a bargain. If the tower room had been available, I would have gone for it, though. The view must be great up there.”

“For a few dollars more the Polly Harper really is worth it. Only negative is it is up a flight of stairs. THe are wide, but there is no elevator. There is a room on the first floor if access is an issue.”

“Two of the three rooms are upstiars, two short flights, with a landing, so choose the Annie Harper Room which is downstairs, if there is a mobility issue.”
