Barefoot serves the most amazing food at Havelock. I stayed at TSG resort which is walking distance from Barefoot & had my dinner at there daily for 3 days. Must try: Red Snapper tawa fry, wood fried pizza and brownie 😊

If you are looking for a Restaurant which is Pure Vegetarian, Barefoot doesn't has one. There are some Roadside eateries outside Radhanagar beach Entrance from Road, around 10-15 mins walk from Barefoot, but even they were not Pure Vegetarian. There was one Restaurant inside the Beach Entry Gate, If I remember well, that was serving Veg food. But be ready to have food at Restaurants serving non veg too. Restaurant at Barefoot was good in Ambience, Food and Service . Pricing was what is normally charged in a good Restaurant in any Metro of India.

The standard issue visa has the wording you mention pre-printed on the visa sticker. This visa is OK to enter Andaman with, and you will be given the Restricted Area Permit (RAP) upon arrival at the airport (no cost, takes approx 10-15mins).
What it means is that the visa alone is not valid for the Andamans, but together with the RAP, it is. All foreigners with the Indian visa bearing the restriction you mention get this RAP on arrival without problems/exception.
In very few cases (we have mostly seen this in the past from the Indian consulate in Italy), the visa issuing offer ADDITIONALLY stamps (using an inked stamp pad) in blue a similar restriction (not valid for prohibited/restricted and cantonment areas) across or to the side of the pre-printed visa sticker. In this case - only if your visa has been re-stamped as not valid in restricted areas, i.e. if the wording you mention appears twice - the authorities at Port Blair have not issued an RAP int he past.
This is very rare and the last time we have seen it was in 2011-12.
