The hotel has a nice atmosphere. I was in a single room, a bit small but comfortable. There are a lot of bathrooms and all very clean. Wonderful hot water in the shower. WiFi works only in restaurant, bar and lobby. The price is acceptable, if you consider that Svalbard is an island and it's part of Norway. The restaurant...

Great atmosphere, good breakfast and they have some great whalesteak in the restaurant. We had a room in the gruveriggen, with shared bathroom ans toilet but in our corridor there were 4 bathrooms, all clean and with all comfort you need. Rooms are small, but they're only for sleeping. If you wish to relax, the living room is really cosy...

Great clean facilities, wonderful authentic atmosphere, friendly staff but above all - excellent kitchen with Nordic food. I have never tasted better arctic disses (seal, whale or erindrer) anywhere - the chef is a true wizard

This place has everything you need while visiting Svalbard. The rooms are nice and spacey, and they get cleaned every day. Breakfast buffet every morning in a relaxing atmosphere and AWESOME restaurant in the evening with an AMAZING menu!! We tried seal, whale and reindeer while being here, and it was deliciously made!

There aren't very many lodging options in Longyearbyen, and Mary-Ann's Polarrigg is one of the more affordable options that's close to the small downtown area. It's a fine place to stay, but there are a few downsides. First, they don't have good blackout curtains, which is unfortunate when you're so far above the Arctic Circle and the sun never sets....

Mar-Ann's Polarigg is more like a family run establishment in Svalbard, one of the northern most human establishments in Europe. Stayed there for 3 days as we wanted to be as close to North pole as possible. The rooms are pretty basic but warm and cosy. Breakfast was equally basic as its not a chain property. You'll have trouble looking...

The hotel is located on walking distance from the town's center, and has many very small but cosy rooms and shared bathrooms. There is a nice living room where you can chill out in between your arctic excursions and a kitchen that you can use if you choose for self-catering. The staff is very nice, helpful and accommodating, while the...

I stayed at Mary-Ann´s for ca 1 week during the summer of 2016 and I can very warmly recommend the place. Mary-Ann did everything in her power to help out people, and during the brief time I stayed there, she managed to help many people to get a roof over their heads in the hectic high-season when lodging was hard...

For the price offered..you get a tiny room with a very small bed. that's it. Absolutely nothing more. No bathroom(only on corridor), no tv, no wifi in the room. Of course you hear everything from the corridor as well.
