There are fewer and fewer of them; this busy village used to have several, now only the Kings Arms remains - but although it lacks nearby competition, this pub would stand comparison with the best. It doesn't pretend to be anything other than the village "local" that it is but it does have some rather good accommodation attached. The ensuite...

With a few small changes this accommodation has the potential to be a great little getaway. Me and my partner stayed here for 2 nights. On arriving in the bar to book in there were no introductions to staff and no info was given about breakfast, check out etc. We were given a twin room not a double, which was...

There was also abundant off street parking for guests. A good choice of drinks and a great atmosphere to relax in made the night...

Myself, partner and son have eaten here several times now and every time tried something different (except my son who appears to be addicted to the beer battered haddock!) the food is always fresh, hot and tastes amazing...cannot fault a thing! Real ales, good beer, good prices and in the comfort of a proper pub! Christmas the decorations are beautiful,...

We were recommended this place by our hotel. The staff we encountered were friendly and professional. Food served at a good pace in between courses and lots of choice. Ambient setting, relaxed and informal and would visit again

I've visited The Kings Arms many times and have had consistently great food. Pleasant staff and good beers. Today I had the Sunday lunch which was plentiful and very tasty. If you are looking for a reasonably priced, extensive menu and delicious food this is the place for you.
