Haven't stayed at the pub but family visiting us have. The charming old pub is a great place for an evening meal which we use quite often, plenty to choose from and lovely food. Owners always make us feel welcome and Ann goes the extra mile to make sure visitors are well catered for. Nothing is too much for them...

We stayed here for 4 nights between Christmas and New Year. Landlord friendly and helpful nothing was too much trouble. Staff were delightful, quick, efficient, and really pleasant. The room was spacious, nice and clean, beds were comfortable and ensuite had a lovely big bath as well as a superb shower. The food was excellent every night and not expensive....

Stopped off here in November for a spot of dinner. Impressed with the old coaching inn building but the restaurant extension decor was not in keeping with the rest of the building, too modern. The staff were faultless, they couldn't do enough for us. The food was excellent, One small gripe. The portions are quite Big. I had smoked haddock...

We checked in to the Travel Lodge on the M6 service area and asked the Manager to recommend a place to eat. He gave us the Kings Arms in a nearby village and we were most impressed with the service and standard of the food which was of a very high quality and very friendly and helpful staff.

late night stop. Charming hotel in nice village. Plenty of parking for cars although vans may struggle due to height restriction, staff were very helpful getting us parked up for the night. Rooms were clean and well equipped, bathroom was small but fine. Breakfast was very good and would recommend a visit.

We thought we would try the Kings Arms at Burton in Kendal Last week the end of September because we have not been there for around 10 months. This was the third time we have eaten there and whilst having a nice drink...

We were walking the Lancaster Canal with our dog and had booked here overnight. Our welcome was lovely and the young girl had actually taken our bags up to our room for us as they had been taken for us. There was a dog bed in the room so the dog was happy. The room was clean and the bed...
