We have just returned from a four day break to Stafford Hall, staying in the Lady Tower apartment. This apartment is pet friendly so we took out four legged pal with us, and we all had a wonderful time. The apartment is on the first floor, reached by a wonderful grand staircase in the main hall. There is all you...

My Wife, two kids (5&7 yrs old) stayed at Staffield hall during October half term for five days in king Oswald, which was the second time we have stayed at SH. Once again it was a great base to explore the Lakes, Carlisle and the Scottish Borders (Gretna and Hadrian's Wall). Staffield Hall is a large Victorian residence with stunning...

We spent two nights at Staffield Hall as a group of two families and will definitely be back! We stayed in King Oswald and Heavenfield apartments which were superbly appointed with everything we needed for a relaxing family weekend away. The children loved the scope of the beautiful grounds and the views from both apartments were fantastic. Great walking from...

The Hall is nestled in the beautiful countryside just north of Penrith. The Hall is remote, peaceful and quiet. The Hall itself is striking and set within it's own ground As you enter the Hall you are immediately taken back in time with it's references to the past. The accommodation is modern, well equipped and a high standard of cleanliness....

My girlfriend and I stayed at the manor house in Peel Tower. the experience of a lifetime! we wanted to live in a luxury apartment on the outskirts of town. This well suited our experience. Being completely new to the area and after traveling 200 miles we forgot our joining instructions. the owners were more than helpful with providing us...

What a time you had, pleased you got home safe and sound on the train. So very good to hear you had such a great time. Peel tower is a lovely property so very peaceful up there.

Delighted with the accommodation in Manor Hall. Everything we needed and more. Owners very helpful after initial glitch. Location excellent for walking and cycling. Good pubs and local shop in nearby village. Supermarket in next village. Housekeeper keeps the place spotless. Although the property was full we heard very little noise. Looking forward to our next visit.

Yes, its very peaceful at Staffield Hall pleased that you appreciated the tranquillity. Our housekeeper is a gem and works so hard to keep the place spotless. Thanks for staying with us and hope to have you back again soon. M

My family and I stayed in the Manor Hall, at Staffield Hall, for seven nights towards the end of August. The service, before and during our stay, was excellent. A couple of days before arrival, we were given clear instructions regarding the door codes, used to access the property. These were very helpful and we were able to gain entry...

Thank you for this review, we did pay a lot of attention to try to retain as much of the original character as possible when we refurbished the hall. It can feel just like your lord and lady of the manor when staying in Manor Hall - its like your own stately home for a few days away. Super that...

Stayed here for 3 nights, Apartment was Brilliant, Tidy, Warm, Cosy. Only problem is that you are in the middle of no where. There is lots to do in the surrounding area's, but everything is a good drive away. Sliding down the Banister was good fun !!

Yes we away from it all and the local countryside is beautiful. The villages are peaceful and you can expect to be welcomed like a local rather than a tourist which we believe is a great plus for us. But you need a car for sure to make the most of a stay. Thanks for staying with us

I decided on a romantic break for my birthday somewhere in the Lake District but left it to my partner to decide on the location. He chose Staffield Hall because it was in a rural location. The hall and our room was just as shown in the photos and the setting had beautiful scenery and grounds, it was quiet and...

Stayed here from the 2nd August for 3 nights for the girlfriends 21st birthday. The establishment itself was very nice with beautiful surroundings. The room was nice and clean on arrival and as previous reviews stated even though there were other guests it felt like our own place. The reasons why we haven't rated this 5 stars was the fact...

Fast internet is on the way. Not from BT however but from a community lead initiative to bring this into our village ourselves. Due very soon now. I think you might have stayed in Garden of Eden so I´m checking out the hot water to try and be sure all is as it should be. Thanks for staying with us
