Considering this is not the most expensive accommodation in Norfolk I was pleasantly surprised. The single room was small but perfectly adequate with an en suite. It was very clean albeit a bit dated and I had a good nights sleep. From the front the pub is deceptive, the fairly small frontage belying a much bigger accommodation with ample parking....

This is a truly awful place to stay. I booked through Laterooms, where the information relating to the hotel is whoefully out of date. The hotel is in such a state of disrepair it's difficult to over-emphasise how poor it is. The room I stayd in (room 5) had one wooden chair (broken) and a milking stool. The bed cover...

I don't understand the reviews moaning about this place, I found it really good! A warm welcome from the man behind the bar, which was nice as it was cold and wet outside. Very informative and helpful with what takeaways, restaurants and shops were nearby which was very useful and welcome information. He showed me the way to my room,...

Greeted by lady who wanted money before showing us rooms, then told us that kitchen was "f...ed" so we could have a beer free of charge & get our breakfast at local café (which in contrast to Kings Arms was EXCELLENT!). The beer was virtually undrinkable and very poorly kept. Rooms were not clean, bathroom fittings cracked and shower options...

Very basic accommodation. The room was very small and cluttered with unnecessary furniture. The bed was very uncomfortable, a large mirror in the room was broken, a tiny tv perched on top of wardrobe with flex stretched across to a power point could only be viewed properly if you were standing. Thankfully there was internal double glazing as both external...

Needs a great deal of improvement to gain any points. Carpets filthy, rooms very shabby. But the sheets and bath towels were very clean. Not a great experience and wouldn't recommend. Good point is large car park and bus to Norwich or Great Yarmouth stops outside

Staying at the Travelodge in Acle and decided to walk to the nearest pub which was the King's Arms - big mistake. Two members of staff were arguing behind the bar when I went to order food, when it came it was not of a very good standard and Luke warm, we were never asked if everything was OK. Went...

Breakfast coffee cup filthy. Left a note and spoke to the boss not even an apology and was charged full rate. Anyone who says there stay was even...

Spent three nights in the King's Head. First two nights were lovely - friendly staff, chatted to - not made to feel like 'incomers '. Not so great the third night - bar staff claimed to have rung last orders twice - we had been watching to make sure we didn't miss it!! Lovely lady doing breakfast and spacious rooms....

We were planning a family surprise and needed a convenient stopover. The previous reviews for the Inn were mixed but we wanted a bed with the possibility of a meal. We received a number of pleasant surprises. The Inn is well placed in the village and has a good sized car park. The bar is a little unprepossessing, enter on...
