This country pub is off the main road. It took us a while to find it. The restaurant and the toilet were very clean when we were there. It indicates good hygiene standard. Food standard is good and portions are generous. As it was early evening, the service was efficient.

I went for a meal with two old friends whom I had not seen for some time. I was amazed at the menu and chose, on recommendation, the sausage and mash. I was not disappointed. It was served with delicious vegetables mixed in with the mash, greens cooked to perfection and onion rings that were light and crisp. The sausages...

Recovering from 2 operations, i wanted a place that was tranquil and relaxing. Lovely setting by the river, pleasant gardens to sit in, excellent food large portions) although we ate from the specials board only, and excellent beer. Just what i needed. Accommodation was clean and comfortable.

Sculthorpe Mill is located down a narrow country lane, with beautiful views and a lovely stream outside. I stayed two nights and enjoyed a delicious breakfast both mornings, as well as a great dinner the first night. The bed was enormous and very comfortable, everything was clean and the service was very attentive. The bathrooms are all equipped with macerators,...

This pub is tucked away down a narrow lane but is well worth seeking out. It is signposted off the A148. The setting by the river is just magical, especially on a warm summers day or evening and if the weather is not so clement then the inside is bright, warm & welcoming. The food & service are second to...

We booked this restaurant to celibate ten years since we got married at Sculthorpe mill. It looked shabby and had not been decorated since our wedding. Food was over priced and not much of it. poor choices on menue's. Staff helpful but no atmosphere. candles on the tables but not lit.

We spent three nights here. The ambiance is something special which is enhanced by the very obliging staff and excellent food. The bed was comfortable, water hot and good pressure and absolutely silent at night. Our room no 4 overlooked the millrace on one side and open country on the other. However if you are over six foot, unable to...

We visited The Mill in a large group for lunch. The service was very good and attentive. The group ordered a variety of starters and mains with varied results. A few had the soup which was bland and unexciting. The fish and chips and Mussells were, however, excellent. The chips were undercooked but the Peese Pudding and home made Tartare...
