My daughter and I stayed this week. The location of the hotel could not be more convenient, literally a couple of minutes walk from both the beach and the town centre. Once inside the hotel is attractive and the decor is really pretty and up to date. Our room at the front of the hotel was pleasant and very clean....

Spent two nights at this hotel and enjoyed a comfortable room with good amenities. Service in the restaurant was very good and the fact that my wife is coeliac (gluten free) was no problem as gluten free bread was available for toast and the choices on the restaurant menu for evening meals was very varied - and all the meals...

Had a three night stay at this hotel which included meals. We had a nice room overlooking the front of the hotel , in a nice location with a 5 minute walk down to the sea. The room was a bit sad in places but it wasn't an issue at all. Service was very good , all the meals we...

Room 8 is on the top floor and is described as "Superior". It has the Fire Escape route for the whole top floor going through it. The entry to the room for guests in emergency is by a turn handle protected by a broken perspex cover (held on with Selotape). The exit from the room is up some steps and...

We booked this hotel as part of a deal on-line, and it was very reasonably priced, in a good location within walking distance to the town centre. It had a really cosy and warm feel as we walked through the door. The staff were super friendly and helpful, and the room itself was lovely and quaint, however the bathroom window...

We called in for a morning coffee, but was appalled by the quality of the coffee. The food was good and hotel warm and friendly. Set just on the edge of southwold, it makes a lovely start to,a day out. We were amazed that in this day of bean to,cup gadgets the hotel still served filter coffee which was nearly...

This hotel appears to receive very mixed reviews, some seem to love it, others are not so keen. I think that it all depends on which room you are offered. We stayed in room 2. This is a small room and a little tired but I can live with that. The thing I fid hard to accept is that the...

We thoroughly enjoyed our break. The room was spacious, though a little dark, the bed was very comfortable and there was everything in the room to make our stay complete. The room was really quiet, which you don't often get in more modern hotels. The food in the restaurant was fabulous and the staff very friendly. The hotel is well...

Travelled to this lovely hotel on Saturday 5th July for a few days break and yet again was not disappointed. Stayed in room 10 which was okay but was on the second floor and we soon got used to the stairs. We were welcomed very warmly as usual and really enjoyed our stay. I cannot fault this hotel. Breakfast was...
