A very welcome return visit. An ideal location in a great town. Marvellous accommodation and a welcoming host. Very comfortable and spacious room and a very tasty breakfast; the options and quality were an ample sufficiency!

Stayed here for 3 nights. Di is a hostess who knows her business. Lovely lady who gets to know her guests and is always interested in how your stay in the beautiful town of Southwold is going. Always around for a chat. Her daughter brought laughter to the breakfast room. Her weekend staff (Michelle??) is lovely too. Our room was...

We booked at short notice and the staff/ hosts were very accommodating, understanding about late arrivals. Great location, just a short walk from a couple of great pubs and lovely clean rooms, the breakfast catered for everyone.

Can't speak highly enough for this B&B. Had to book 3 rooms at very short notice to attend a family funeral in Reydon and they couldn't have been more helpful. They arranged late and flexible arrival times, rooms were excellent (and lovely and warm given the cold weather and flood warnings for the east coast) and the breakfast was excellent....

We booked to stay at Amber House as we were down for the weekend to run the Adnams 10k. We really enjoyed our stay here with nothing being too much trouble for the owner Di and her daughter Lou. We arrived later than expected on the Friday night and Di was so helpful to accommodate this for us. We stayed...

The room was nothing like any of the advertised rooms, it was smaller, which normally would not be a problem if fairly priced, but there was too much furniture in the room which then made it cramped, you could...

Amber house is a lovely guest house. It's clean and well presented. Breakfast was delicious and nicely cooked. And Di, the owner is lovely, it would have been nice to have time to speak to her more. We would definitely stay again if we were in Southwold.

What can I say? My two friends and I went here last year and were given a stylish and spacious three person room. This bed and breakfast is superb. The breakfasts are excellent and Diana will consider specific requests in advance. The house is beautiful, as are the rooms and it is ideally placed on the Southwold front with roadside...
