My wife manages a block of retirement flats and selected the Cooden Beach for this years annual "Christmas Lunch" and the majority of our party bar one was very pleased that she did, it is a virtual impossibility to satisfy 21 old people, therefore to receive only one complaint from a person who in all honesty would find fault with...

We arrived for an 80th birthday party, my wife's uncle who is diagnosed with terminal cancer, so as you can imagine it was an emotional weekend. We had a very nice meal for approx. 13 persons in the board room on the Friday evening, so that was a good point, but from there, alas down hill, please read below. Arrived...

Went for xmas party night What a mistake!! The food was well below average, mean portions, tasteless, turkey dinner. Mushroom tart starter was disappointing. Glad I went for the cheese and biscuits for desert! The wine was served warm! Will not be going there again. Very dated decor.

We've discovered we are lucky enough to have a wonderful restaurant locally. We enjoyed fresh, beautifully cooked cuisine. While Andre and Harriet made us very welcome and provided such attentive service. Thank you to all at The Cooden Beach for making our evening, we shall return!

Wendy back to Reception and they changed it without hesitation, only problem was that the electronic key didn't work, so we left it with Reception to sort and went...

Just spent a lovely relaxing birthday weekend in the Hotel. My parents live opposite so we've been in the Cooden Tavern to eat a few times and it was superb. This was the 1st time we had stayed in the hotel and it was great. The room was ideal for what we wanted and very quiet. There was a party...

I recently made my first visit to this hotel in order to dine there on a Sunday evening. Not many places serve meals on Sunday evenings but, with this one open, they don't need to! Very attractively laid out room, nicely balanced menu, excellently cooked food, and impeccable service from Andre and Stephanie. I heartily recommend it and look forward...

I could not have wished to have stayed at a more friendly, caring or welcoming hotel. Nothing was too much trouble either for me or my little dog, who was also made very welcome. The staff were all exceptionally kind and helpful, and knowledgeable about the area. I ate in both restaurants and the meals are excellent. There is also...
