Fifty quid a night B&B for a double room is an important point to note in writing this review. You get what you pay for and, on reflection, it was good value for money. We were provided with an en suite room that was clean and presentable and, all agreed, we had a good breakfast. It's a bit of a...

I was looking for a low cost hotel for my partner and I for I night and was delighted with The Bay Hotel. Staff were very friendly and helpful, the hotel was very clean and a good freshly cooked breakfast. We would definately stay again,

Great atmosphere. Rather small but clean and cheerful. Nothing important missing. It was great in April and would be a good family location in Summer. Plenty of space to roam about. Beautiful English countryside just by the seaside.

Stayed here on a Sunday night as the kids had an inset day, so decided to go by the coast and booked one night here. The landlady was lovely from word go... We rung up first to make sure they were able to cater for four of us in a room and, although it was a triple room, they were...

A friendly bar/restaurant/hotel.... Met by the very friendly manager. Room very different to the impression given on the internet. This old dame is needing a large investment to restore her to former glory.

This is a pub/restaurant style hotel, conveniently situated close to Pevensey Beach. Nice big room, comfortably furnished, large bathroom. The breakfast was very good but we didn't have any other meals here so cannot vouch for the main menu. Friendly, welcoming staff.

Having seen all the good reviews, I booked for a week. As soon as I walked in to the bar, I knew I had made a mistake. Although the landlady was very friendly, the bar was "tacky" and the room even more so. Although apparently clean, a musty smell and grubby feeling prevailed. I actually left a day early as...

This place has incredible charm and old English Spirit, albeit a bit warn. It does have a bit of old school character to the bar and and rooms and if you can stand some of the serious imperfections, than you won't be disappointed. Let's start with the ugly.. The hotel had no heat whatsoever at night. It was turned off...

Friendly staff , great food. Relaxing break. Room three has a balcony , that looks out onto main rd. Was great to look out early morning. Lots to do nearby and the hosts Jayne and Andy are really knowledgeable.
