I booked this hotel for 34 of us visiting gardens this spring, including the wonderful tulip festival at Pashley Manor last month. Members of the group, commented on the quality of the meals, both our evening meals and the freshly cooked breakfasts, the excellent service and friendly atmosphere and several have said they plan to visit again. I didn't hear...

Approaching the Brickwall in Seddlescome village, the first sight is usually geese on the village green. The hotel itself is situated at the north end of the green and the carparking is to the right of the building. I have never been a guest in the hotel, but have visited many times for functions and Sunday lunch. Guests are greeted...

We were charmed by the whole atmosphere and ambience of the hotel, from the very cheerful staff, the quirky old building with its intriguing history, and the way the staff interacted with the guests and each other. It is run by an extended Italian family, who bring their passion for hospitality to the fore ~ “Con Brio”.

Sunday lunch here is always a treat and at a very reasonable price for a 2 or 3 course meal, wonderful food and attentive, friendly staff. highly recommended the roast beef and the duck, spot on everytime.

Food was delicious and tasty particularly the butterfly prawns with chilli jam starter. Service was also quick and excellent. Will definitely go back. All was a great price. The restaurant was light and airy with an olde world charm

My husband and I visited this lovely quaint restaurant in March for a 3 course lunch, which was an Anniversary present from our children. The starter, main, and dessert were very well presented, served hot,and tasted delicious. We were quite full,so we would probably have a 2 course lunch in future. The service was good, and we enjoyed our leisurely lunch, finishing with a coffee. The hotel and restaurant...

I ate lunch here twice in February and found both meals disappointing. My first starter was a blue cheese tart which was very salty. The main course I chose that time was baked cod. It was mediocre as were the vegetables. On my second visit I chose the melon starter which was much more enjoyable. My main course was chicken...

Hotel rooms are basic but have all essentials, always spotlessly clean and comfortable. WiFi works and TV has freeview. Restaurant serves delicious meals and very good portion sizes, albeit a little expensive. The food is excellent and the service similarly good.
