A nice pit stop arranged by work. Really friendly host and accommodated my struggles driving around the region late at night and getting quite lost in the dark. The room had everything I needed and the shower was lovely and hot (although the cubicle itself was a little snug). Breakfast was awesome, great before heading off to work. I would... More

We visited this Inn for the first time over the weekend. Their Sunday roast was absolutely amazing, a good sized sirloin roast came with a selection of perfectly cooked vegetables and possibly the best gravy I have had. The staff were so friendly and accommodating. They were also very happy for us to bring our 3 year old and 5... More

A superb Inn with a warm atmosphere. Steve a first class host. The room comfortable and clean, very pleasant. Decor coordinated without being over done. The evening meal and breakfast where outstanding quality. Each made delightful by the service which treds that line between attentive and relaxed.

The Best Beech Inn is a true gem of a pub. Very welcoming and friendly staff. The menu gives a good selection and some tough choices because so much sounded good. The 3 of us had different selections but all loved the food equally . Great food great service and a good feel puts this as a highly recommended place... More

We visited on Friday the 8th of April. First of all I would like to say that the pub was heaving with people, bringing an amazing atmosphere. We didn't eat, just visited the pub with some old friends. The two front of house staff were very welcoming, very on top of the busy situation, couldn't have been more polite :)... More

We were a party of nine. We had booked ages ago to meet at this inn, with our dogs - five of them between us - have dinner and stay the night. In the meantime, the place had changed hands. And unbeknownst to us, the new owners had decided not to take dogs. Nonetheless they gave us and all the... More

The pub / B&B is very family friendly with it still feeling like a pub, welcoming regulars , dinners, walkers and hotel guests. The pub is around 1500m from the village and around 2000 m from the main line station. Food is good pub Grub , with a reasonable selection on the standard menu , not too many specials which... More

We stayed on a Saturday night and found the pub almost empty. Maybe too early for customers, but the restaurant looked nice. Our room was large and the bathroom even larger! The room had everything we needed including a small fridge with fresh milk. It was quite bland, but we were only here for the night. The bathroom was well... More
