For us a convenient location for meeting up with family, having dinner and enjoying good food and wine. We booked direct online and secured a very reasonable rate. On arrival we were greeted by a very pleasant you man who upgraded our room to a suite. This was much appreciated as it was my wife's 60th birthday but that was... More

Stayed here a few times over a 4 week period. The staff are very friendly and helpful throughout the hotel. The food in the lounge is small portion sizes and I had to order a side order every time I had a meal, which boosts the prices up. The rooms are adequate , could do with being modernised a bit!... I stay at this hotel regularly throughout the year and my stay is always made very enjoyable by the excellent standards of care, friendliness and professionalism shown by all members of staff. The rooms are a good size and comfortable. The restaurant always has a good cuisine, which is well prepared and at a reasonable cost. There is a good... More

I have been on a few afternoon teas of late. The presentation of sandwiches and selection of cakes very good. Ample supply of hot tea. Maybe to give it a little bit extra real china cup and saucers thatsall. Nice tudor setting

Stayed for one night as we were having dinner with friends nearby - friendly staff, very good breakfast and loved the room. We stayed in the Katherine of Aragon suite and it was like stepping back in time! Four poster-bed, lots of dark woodwork and beams and a lovely large bathroom. The room was also spotlessly clean. Lovely cosy feel... More

Travelled to Brentwood on business last week and stayed here for 2 nights. When looking at the hotel from the front it looked like any normal hotel but as soon as I got inside I was very surprised and impressed. The hotel has a lot of character and a beautiful garden area out the back; which would be fantastic in... More

This was my second visit, because it is so good. It has a great atmosphere, and is perfect for shopping, business meetings, seminars, families, special occasions and Weddings. The rooms are lovely amongst beautiful gardens. Fruit and bottled water are complimentary. The staff are fantastic, nothing is too much trouble. Christian was most helpful, thank you all so much.
